The location of these apartments can't be beat. We came in Christmas time and their was a little market down the street and the Polar Bar and ice skating up the street. Easy walk to many many attractions and on a lot of bus routes. The rooms are nicely appointed, lovely bathroom. We were sleeping 5 adults so it was a bit tight but workable. There was no tea towel in the kitchen which was a minor bugbear. Keep in mind the building is 250 years old, there is no lift, the floor is a little uneven.

Excellent location. Rooms very cleaned and well equipped. Staff were all very helpful. We were upgraded for our first stay of 5 nights and it was wonderful for us

With the exception of the location, which was excellent, we were very DIS-satisfied with the rental and believe we have been taken advantage of, and overcharged. The room was not as advertised. My wife and I are in our mid 70's, and we were traveling with our 45 year old son. We travel a lot and have never encountered such a situation. The posting was totally misleading stating that it was a 2 bedroom apartment in the title. A 2 bedroom apartment implies 2 bedrooms and a common area, not 1 bedroom and a common area with a murphy bed. The space was totally inadequate and uncomfortable with only a love seat, one other chair, and no tables. This rental is barely adequate for a couple much less 3-4 adults. The murphy bed effectively consumed half the common space not allowing for a table and chairs to sit at. Without a table and chairs to sit at, the stove and oven add no value, and with only 1 pot to use, what's the point? putting appliances in a bedroom doesn't make it a kitchen. There were no paper towels, no toiletries, and we had to buy toilet paper on the 3rd day. The closet in the common space did not have a hanger rod and hangers to hang up clothes, nor door handles, so we had to work out of our suitcases which took up more floor space. None of this adds up to a comfortable, affordable stay, and future renters should be advised, and certainly was not worth what we paid. Beware.

We will definitely be looking at this as our go to accommodation next time we are through in Edinburgh. Absolutely sensational location in Edinburgh, steps away from Princes Street and any transport you could need. A reasonable price during the Edinburgh Fringe compared to other locations. Staff was lovely and very accommodating to requests. Luggage storage and laundry facilities available. Only very minor issues with the room (bed wasn't the most comfortable, but was adequate; musty smell in the bathroom that was hard to ignore; a few slightly loose porions on the flooring; internet was a little patchy) but nothing that I would class as a "problem". The lack of a lift again not a problem) is worth noting just for those who would need one (70 stairs up to our rooms was no issue for us, but don't get caught unawares!). High recommendation.

Very nice attic space apartment. We came for 1 night on our road trip and had the best night sleep out of all the hotels and apartments here. Very close to one of the main areas and 10 minutes away from the discounted car park. Breakfast discount of 10% at a Cafe near by for guests. Only issue what we experienced is when the room cleaner barged in the room 1 hour before checkout with out knocking when my girlfriend was breast feeding.

I was there in late September 2022 with my wife and 3 kids. Great place to stay with the family. Very easy to check-in and check-out. Big apartment, very clean and had everything we needed. It's close to everywhere. Definitely will book again when I'm able to go back to Edinburgh, an amazing city.

Very nice apartment, but we had nit been warned we'd need to climb so many stairs with our luggage. All tenants were all locked out in the rain one night. We were told not to open the window, as it was broken. So apartment got very stuffy.

It was a nice stay. The location is great. The view from the castle when you go out side is beautiful. I liked the keypad locks on the door. But the hotel wifi even my 4G signals was so bad in the room.
