   We spent a night at the hotel as we were visiting the theatre in Edinburgh. We checked in online and was able to get into our room to drop off our bags before heading off which was great. .On arriving at the hotel Floni, the receptionist greeted us with a lovely welcome and a warm cookie and was very helpful in informing us of how to get into Edinburgh by tram. We were able to get on the car park bus to the tram terminal at the airport into Edinburgh and the same coming back. In the morning Floni was on duty again and greeted us with a lovely warm smile and a cheery demeanour. There was a male receptionist on at the same time who was lovely too but unfortunately we didn’t get his name. Both of them were fantastic but Floni really stood out as someone who we felt comfortable approaching, who made us feel extremely welcome and is an absolute credit to the company. We will certainly be back the next time we are either visiting Edinburgh or jetting off somewhere lovely. Thank you Floni for making our stay that bit more enjoyable.

   Hotel Review: DoubleTree by Hilton Edinburgh Airport Dates of stay: November 5 till 11 ,2025 Purpose of stay: Holiday with my husband My husband and I stayed at DoubleTree by Hilton Edinburgh Airport for a holiday in Scotland, and we couldn’t have been happier with our choice. The hotel’s location is excellent—close to the airport and with easy access to all the places we planned to visit. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, making our stay even more enjoyable. A special mention goes to Thomas Peachy, the manager, who went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. Our room was comfortable and clean, providing a relaxing space after long days of exploring. We also appreciated the hotel’s facilities, which were well-maintained and convenient for guests. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Edinburgh. We will definitely consider staying here again on our next trip!

   Traveling for work, I've been choosing this hotel every time. Perfect location close to the airport and easy to access with public transport. The rooms are modern, clean, with a touch or luxury. Big plus to all staff for being so friendly and helpful. The food is absolutely fantastic with solid portion sizes and good flavours. Can recommend to anyone traveling to Edinburgh.

   This hotel is very nice. Extremely clean and comfortable, from the lobby seating area to the room. Tom at registration was so nice, making sure we were happy. Vladimir in the restaurant was above and beyond fantastic. His recommendations were on point. We had a wonderful dining experience, thanks to Vladimir. Tom and Vladimir are people who influence other people, by their kindness and expertise, to come back to the hotel. Thanks for a wonderful experience!

   I recently stayed at the Hilton DoubleTree at Edinburgh Airport, and I am able to share a positive review for a change The hotel is quite modern and the staff were extremely welcoming at reception. The room itself was modern, and the in-room tea/coffee facilities were great, along with the fridge, large wardrobe and safe. Also, all power sockets has a USB port which is welcome for phone charging etc. The bathroom was large and immaculate. As per Hilton, the hot water at the sink was only warm (not hot), and the shower was boiling. While the pillows were a bit too soft for my liking, which is often the case at Hilton hotels, the staff were more than happy to bring firmer pillows upon request. I also had breakfast at the hotel, which offered a really nice variety of options, and everything tasted fresh. There was plenty of parking available, though it does cost £17 a night. I’d happily recommend the Hilton DoubleTree at Edinburgh Airport for a comfortable stay. Just off the motorway, very close to Edinburgh city centre and obviously, ideal for the airport.

   Positive experience despite unexpected stop over. Quick check in. Well stocked bar, fabulous leisure facilities including sauna, steam room and jacuzzi pool. Immaculately clean. Good buffet style breakfast and late check out.

   We had a great stay, taking full advantage of booking a room at the airport hotel and parking our car whilst away. Right next to the airport, in fact, walking distance - there is also a shuttle bus every 20 mins between 03:00 and (I think) 22:00. Lovely hotel with a great bar and restaurant. Everyone we came across on their team was lovely, smiley and helpful. We will be using this hotel when away on holiday in future.

   If you need a place close to the airport this is the best. Super close, 10 min walk and they provide a free shuttle. Room was spacious and clean. Joann, from housekeeping, was a star. She assisted us with any questions and requests we had during our stay. All staff were courteous. Pool was fun for some relaxing before a flight.

   Great location for those needing accomodation at the airport. Some cleaning and maintenance issues in the room. (For example, shower head leaked out the top, spraying water all over the bathroom) and there were air ducts for central air, but no option to turn it on/control it. Did a good job setting up the room for us (foldout sofa bed for kids) Restaurant was nice, staff were so helpful and friendly. Pretty good breakfast although not as many options as some bigger hotels.
