What a wonderful place to stay. The No.26 bus route is right there. Ready walk to restaurants and the water front. Also east bus ride into town. The accommodation is spotlessly clean and the hosts are amazing people. The breakfasts are really tasty and very generous. If you're looking to stay for a night or few in Edinburgh this place is highly recommended

Great authentic experience with so friendly hosts and a fantastic breakfast. Walking distance to beautiful Portobello beach and direct bus line to the town center right in front. Thanks for having us!

This B&B is highly recommended. We stayed there for two days with our two children on a tour of Scotland. Lynne and Rob are lovely, helpful and warm hosts. The breakfast is wonderful and their tips for excursions very helpful. You can have a wonderful time here.

This place was a highlight of my trip to Edinburgh last year. The host was so friendly and welcoming with great conversation, her breakfasts are huge and delicious. Took care of my daughter and I like we were family.

We had a great time at Another room. Lynne is a lovely host and made us feel very welcome. There are bus stops very near, so getting to the touristy places was very easy. Portobello beach nearby offers good food choices.

Lynn and Robert are taking great care of the guests. We even got Whiskey (Jura) for breakfast⦠:-) Lynn serves homemade scones and shares her recipe. They are full of stories and tips. Thanks to them we visited Portobello beach strip, a chill area 15 minutes walking. And upon their advice, we took the Mary Kings Close tour, showing the fascinating growth of the city in the 18th century. Bear in mind that in the long days of June, esp with excellent weather, the rooms are not very dark. An excellent place to explore the city. We walked everything.

Was booked in here for a night while attending Let's Rock. Owner seemed friendly and accommodating before we arrived. Festival was a shambles to get out of, so didn't get taxi until midnight! When we got back to the B&B, we sat up chatting, next thing there was a knock at the door, which we didn't answer, then owner opened door with her keys and told us to go to sleep! If we had music on and were shouting, I would understand, but we were talking! I would definitely not recommend staying here.

Perfect and very friendly hosts! They gave me lots of recommendations and directions for activities within walking distance. As soon as I mentioned something was wrong (I had trouble with the shower) they immediately found a solution. I had a lovely rest in the quiet neighborhood and was greeted with a vegetarian Scottish breakfast! Even took a scone to go! Would definitely recommend to those wanting to stay a bit out of the city Centre. It is also within walking distance of the oldest pub in Scotland! sheepβs heid Inn.

A perfect place and a lovely couple! A comfortable bed, complimentary whisky, a delicious breakfast with a pack up for lunch, a lovely chat over breakfast and advice given about our onward journey. They even upgraded our room. Β£5.50 Uber into the city centre, close to the beach. Most definitely recomend. Thank you
