   Breakfast was good, rooms Clean and a nice quiet spot, close to some restaurants and a huge Lidl. Close to Haymarket station and airport busses. Walking distance to town if you like walking. Friendly proprietor.

   Staff were very friendly. The room and bed were comfortable. Location wise, bus stops are within a two minute walk. The Royal Mile/City Center is about a 20-minute or so walk. The only reason why we gave it 3 stars was that our room was right beside the staff/owners' room, and the walls were very thin. To the point we could hear conversations going all throughout the night.

   In short, the most necessary is done but no more. The rooms are very old-fashioned and thrown together. Bathrooms are shared similar to a hostel. The bathroom was not very clean. We were here for one night and it was okay, but for the still relatively high price, I don't think it is worth the service you receive. Something positive is the area it is very central near the Haymarket and there are several bars and supermarkets around.

   Great bed clean tidy our bedroom had its own bathroom very clean nice host's would definitely go back on the down side not really continental breakfast .no ham or cheese just toast and cearel. Thanks Ian Teresa and Veronica

   The Dalry Guest house was perfect for our needs. Good price, comfortable room and nice breakfast. Next time we are in the area we will try and book again.

   I think the price has to be bourne in mind, being very inexpensive, and needed just a bed for the night, so it served its purpose. I already knew about shared bathroom, but it wasnt the best with overflowing bin. On the whole the place is resonably clean, I always check a matress, was alarmed to discover it was covered in huge yellow stains. As it was hot I slept on the top of the duvet. I have no complaints about the breakfast. The dining room was very clean. Excellent choice of toast cereal and fruit. Sometimes cooked breakfast is too much. To be fair though I dont think I will return here unless needed just one night

   Clean double room with an ensuite. Basic breakfast consisting of cereal, toast, yoghurt and fruit, as well as juice and coffee. A bit out of the way, near Haymarket down a small back street, but there are lots of transport options close by to get you to where you need to go.

   For this review the price of the hotel is factored in. I was at the hotel during Fringe and rooms were a fraction of the price at other hotels. The hotel is very simple. No private bathrooms, the interior is outdated and especially the carpet in the room and in the hallway does not look particularly clean. However, the beds are very comfortable and the hotel is easily accessible from airport and town. For the price we were happy with what we got.
