   I recently stayed at York place and it was such a beautiful apartment in a fantastic area however the apartment was very noisy due to the people upstairs…. I attempted to make a complaint by calling the phone number provided but they weren’t interested…. This was very disappointing and to be honest I felt no attempt was made to resolve the problem . I received a generic email with a backhanded apology….. I won’t be staying there again .

   Lovely apartment, warm and comfortable with wonderful high ceilings. It was well positioned near to the centre of Edinburgh, so I didn't have to walk too far to see the sights.

   My family and I have just got back from an amazing stay in the 5 bedroom apartment at 24 York Place in Edinburgh. A beautiful apartment with acres of room over two levels. Exceptionally clean and comfortable. Our host ‘Destination Edinburgh’ we’re faultless with good easy communication before and throughout our stay. Even sent us an app for our phones with all the details we needed for our stay. We’ve stayed in apartments before in Edinburgh, but this was another level. Just outstanding and now looking forward to going back.

The apartment is spacious and nicely designed, with a comfortable lounge room and fully-equipped kitchen. I feel the price is reasonable. We had a good time here!

   Most absolutely amazing apartment. I think we were in 28 (down steps) Totally clean 5 bedrooms an 3 bathrooms lovely outdoor courtyard. Best apartment we have stayed in ever.

   This was our third visit here and as previously we thoroughly enjoyed it. The apartment we were in on the first floor is enormous and well kitted out. Rooms are huge with incredibly high ceilings. The only complaint I would have about the place is that the locks on both bathroom doors weren't working, which wouldn't have been a problem if it had just been my husband and I there, but as we were visiting with both daughters, sons in law and grandchildren, it was! However we devised a system to indicate when the loos were occupied. I'd definitely recommend a visit here however, as the apartment is an ideal base for visiting the city. It is an easy walk to Princes Street and the other main shopping areas and tourist attractions. Be aware that there is very little available parking at the apartment. It's situated on a very busy main road. We parked in the multi storey further down the street after dropping off luggage by pulling up on the pavement outside the apartment. We'd seen delivery vehicles doing this previously. The pavement there is very wide and there's plenty of room for this if you're quick. When you're travelling with small children there always seems to be an enormous amount of 'stuff' to pack. We'll almost certainly be back as we always love our visits here.
