The Covent Garden location has an impressive selection of specialized ski gear and outerwear, with a much deeper inventory of skis compared to the other London locations. I was served by Mike, a super knowledgeable and patient fellow who took all of my questions in stride while helping other customers with boot fittings and technical questions all at once, without missing a beat. He went out of his way to ensure I got the best deal for the range of skis I was interested in. I'd recommend this shop solely on the basis of its staff because Mike was the ultimate helper despite having to multitask.

This is a great store for all your outdoor needs, really inspirational and the ski boot fitting experience is highly recommended if you need new boots! The choice of brands and ski boot options is impressive and I found exactly what I was looking for. Book in advance!

I want to express my deepest respect for the staff at this shop. Today, I witnessed an extremely unpleasant situation where a customer aggressively—and even racially—harassed a shop worker while demanding a refund that was clearly outside the store’s policy. She even filmed the interaction, trying to intimidate him further. Despite the customer’s entitled and obnoxious behaviour, the staff member remained calm, composed, and impeccably professional. You could tell the situation hurt him, yet he handled it with dignity and restraint that deserves genuine praise. Five stars from the deepest of my heart. No one should have to face that kind of hostility, especially when simply doing their job—often for minimum wage—and still delivering excellent service. On a personal note, my own experience in the shop was amazing. The professionalism, expertise, and respectful attitude of the staff truly stand out. I highly recommend this place.

Such a disappointment. We stopped by right before closing to pick up an item I called in earlier that day about and was told to pick it up at the front. When I went in to pick it up and pay for it, the staff was not only very unhelpful with locating the item (I was told to go upstairs to the third floor, then down to the basement, then told they don’t know where it is at). When i asked three different staff members for assistance on where my item was at they were not helpful and downright rude. I understand it’s closing time, I’ve worked retail; it is why I called ahead bc I knew we would be cutting it close. I also was in the door before the store closed to pay for the item i was told would be at the register. I did not get my item, and will be purchasing it today from a different company.

I had a fantastic experience at royal nawab restaurant for my son birthday party. The ambiance was warm and inviting, the food was absolutely delicious, and the presentation was top-notch. What truly stood out was the exceptional service the staff was attentive, friendly, and made us feel truly welcomed. Every detail, from the timely service to the personalized recommendations, was handled with care and professionalism. I’ll definitely be returning and recommending this place to friends and family. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience!

Poor 'cant be bothered' service, understaffed, products/prices not clearly labelled. Such a shame. Staff at High Holborn branch are way better...my advice is to go there and avoid Covent Garden branch at all costs

went for some running shoes - excellent range, loads of sizes available, really helpful and knowledgeable staff that took a great deal of time to help me find the right shoe. They have a running machine/video to check your gait and are very professional about it. Maybe i could have got them cheaper online - but i'd much rather buy in-store - it's worth the money when you need stuff to fit. Can't agree with previous comments about lack of staff - i went on a Friday afternoon and plenty of help available

Yesterday afternoon, Sunday, I went to try and find a pair of boots for doing the Camino. The guy who showed me various different boots was super helpful and patient, and knowledgeable. He took the time even though there were lots of other customers. As they were short on Scarpa sizes, he also checked with another store. Presently, I'm still deciding on what to buy but would definitely recommend this store and its staff. Many thanks! Shane

After trying a few shops with a limited range of hiking boots, I was directed here and found a superior range when compared to three other shops that I had been to. The Cotswold team member Sandeep was knowledgeable, attentive and displayed exemplary customer service in helping me find the perfect boot.

Staff are super helpful which makes my shopping experience easier during these busy Christmas times. Luckily, enough the manager remembers me by name which gives a nice personal touch and actually helped me buy something very useful!
