VERY unimpressed. I was in the shopping centre tonight, after work, to buy some Christmas cards, I went to go in to the shop at 17.20, only to be turned away by 2 older bespectacled ladies informing me the shop was closed. Now I pointed out the sign outside said it closes at 18.00, to which they advised me that was later this month...REALLY? Not impressed with this store, the rude staff or the fact it states online it is open until 6. A complaint will be getting made. Update: I complained to WH Smith management and apparently the members of staff hadn't been made aware of the change in shop opening times. They did apologise and I was just pleased it had been looked in to. It still doesn't alter the fact I felt the 2 staff members were rude. It has put me off using that store, but not other WH Smith stores.

Staff Best thing about the store. Nice range of ages, M & F. Sometimes, the store has different items than others, but depends on delivery or consumer demand I suppose. WHSmiths biggest problem, is the price. It is not the cheapest, and with the newly opened The Works, might have to develop some strategy to beat the competition. It sells mainly Magazines and stationery items, with a books, dvds ( & cds if you can find them.)

Always stocked with locally published information books from Hamilton and towns around the area. Plenty of books and games selection. Staff are helpful and recently found staff are approching me to ask if I need help. The lighting instore is a bit dark however thats not always a bad thing considering the shopping center it's based in. The shop itself is generally very clean and tidy.
