Great selection of toys, books and crafts all at reasonable prices. Just one person on the till on a busy Saturday afternoon before Christmas though.
Decent range of products. The lady at the till was always a bit rude and certainly made me feel unwelcome, but I kept coming back as it was convenient on my way home. But last time she overcharged me too (unfortunately didn't realise until I'd thrown away the receipt). If I come back I'll be extra vigilant.
They have a really good range of arts and crafts supplies, books, kits, toys and stationary. They are quite reasonably priced. I got a medium-large, pop-up keepsakes box (for £7, though they had a deal of 2 for £10) with the intention of decorating it at home. The box is of great quality, is very sturdy, and holds lots of items with plenty of room to spare. The staff were so helpful and friendly too. I absolutely recommend checking out their deals on craft supplies.
This store within The St Enoch Centre in Glasgow is part of a chain selling basically hobby type products including toys, games, jigsaws, paint sets and many more and with Christmas coming it probably is a great place to pick up an inexpensive gift. This shop is next door to Game and they are basically selling hobby products but the contrast is palpable.
Good books good prices, I buy a lit of paints and brushes for my miniatures in here. Quite often find good geeky stuff too like graphic novels, toys and games.
Last week I visited The Works branch located at St. Enoch Centre. Wow! What an amazing place to shop with your family. The works have some really great deals; I must say a best place to take home some quality stuff at cheap prices.
There are some good bargains to be had, particularly in children's books and hardbacks. However the shop is a bit of a nightmare accessibility-wise. Books piled up everywhere means a wheelchair would find it very difficult. I would also be careful with small children as the way large stacks are piled up, hanging off tables could be dangerous.
