Used to be a great charity shop great prices and could bag a bargain, had a refit last month and clearly a new manager doing the pricing and pricing things ridiculously high £5 for a t-shirt from primark that’s £3 new, superdry coat for £50 that had a hole in, Ralph Lauren t-shirt and Lacoste t-shirts that you can get on Vinted/ebay for £5-£8 priced at £15-£20, not sure where they’re getting the prices from but at this rate they won’t have much customers soon, I was in there regularly………. not anymore new manager has far too high expectations on what people will pay and she’s rude heard her talking to someone like rubbish…. Shame the new staff don’t have the old staffs way of working!

I dropped off some donations to this shop, all clean and in very good condition. An abrupt, extremely rude, blond haired woman told me that a brocade handbag I was donating 'could not be sold in that condition'. The leather corners of the bag are ery slightly aged as part of the design. Rude people like her are not worth arguing with, but I will never donate to that charity shop again. I dropped the bag off at another charity shop who were delighted to take it.

Please don't get me wrong - I don't think the staff are awful, and I mostly think they have good intentions. Charging someone £6.50 for a £1 basic birthday teddy bear wearing a shirt because it came in the free box Build a Bear give to you has me concerned for future prices for children's items, not to mention sounding a bit rude about a small donation based on what I've just been told

Went here last week. Couldn't park near so had to carry 3 bags of donations along Boughton, not an issue usually, but had wrist strapped as arthritis was bad. Went in to leave them, and was asked if I had an appointment, an appointment to drop off donations, unbelievable. Shop was empty apart from 2 staff members. Horrible woman with blonde hair said they'd taken in there quota for the day. I wouldn't mind, but the shops full of rubbish, well wait til people get sick of your stupid rules and you run out of stock. Mind in Hoole were very pleased with the donation.

I have been coming to this charity shop for almost several years now and it is safe to say that ever since my first visit that my life has changed all for the better! The staff in the shop are some of the most friendly polite and wonderful people that I have ever met in my entire life ! In fact so friendly that I am still good friends with some of them to this day! The shop also offers an amazing variety of items everything that you can ever need from furniture and toys to video games and clothes it’s all there waiting for you!

Negative experience. Sofa wouldn't fit up the stairs, delivery people were rude and acted like I was some demon for being upset apparently that's not allowed. Went back to the shop to get a refund and the lady almost refused because I didn't have a receipt, she knew exactly who I was, and had all my documents in front of her. Absolutely awful well not go back again ever. Didn't get my delivery fee back either!

The selection of furniture and bric a brac was very good and the prices were reasonable, however the clothes selection was sparce nothing really for over a size 18 or mans clothing for larger size and the prices were quite high for the items too

I love this shop. The staff are always friendly and happy to chat (I’m a bit chatty!) I always find something interesting to buy from books and jigsaws to clothes and furniture

Walked to the shop to donate 2 very generous bags of clothes (many good quality pricey items!) but was turned away and told I needed to book in? Very odd way to accept donations, will donate my items elsewhere
