   Good service from Elaine at the Uddingston store. Sofa &chair delivered today by James &Jamie. They put the old sofa in the garage , no problem. They phoned an hour before delivery. The guys were friendly, professional and courteous. When we ordered the goods we were told 20 weeks for delivery and it came on time. Would recommend r&j .

   The service we got in store from Elaine was exceptional. She’s so friendly and easy to talk to. Very knowledgeable and helpful and never felt we were being pushed into anything. She even gave us a swatch home to make sure we chose the right colour. The delivery guys James and Jamie were brilliant, friendly and efficient and done a great job setting up my corner sofa. Would highly recommend R&J Leather at Uddingston.

The time she had taken with us explaining everything and physically drawing my living room layout and how we can design our sofa to work for us was outstanding!    Had an amazing experience in R&J leather in Uddingston. Elaine was extremely helpful and friendly and helped my family and I pick the best sofa to suit us. She made finding the couch so easy and efficient as she helped customise the pieces to suit the space we were looking to place the couch. Would 100% recommend to anyone looking to find a new sofa or any furniture. Overall great service !

   Went in to uddingston branch to look at recliner chairs for our bedroom. We were taken care of by Elaine who was friendly and knowledgeable. Not pushy at all Went out of her way to find us almost exactly what we wanted.    Was in R&J yesterday and was greeted by Elaine. Oh what a welcome. Kettle's on would you like a tea or coffee. She said take your time looking round I'm here to answer any questions. So on we went trying out numerous sofas. Wasn't long before we found the sofas we wanted. I can't say how friendly and knowledgeable Elaine was. Such a warm and caring woman. We felt at ease looking round the store. Elaine didn't put us under any pressure with purchase. I would highly recommend you visit this branch of R&J. Thank you Elaine.

   Purchased a leather suite from this store and when it was delivered the drivers had to take the arm off the sofa to get it in my front door. A few weeks later I noticed that the base cloth was hanging down on the floor. When my husband spoke to the sales person he was asked - and you have only noticed it !! 2 men came to the house with a big staple gun and ‘fixed’ it, next day the cloth was back on the floor with what looks like gaps at the very edge where the staples had been. When my husband reported the fault again he was told - the drivers are too busy with deliveries, they will get to you when they have time. Typical sales person, once they get you to make the purchase they want nothing more to do with you. Never again R & J leather, I will also warn my friends about them. Having read the reply to this review it appears R & J Leather Scotland (owner) thinks I am a liar, the staff most certainly did speak to us like that, the woman was called Gwen. Also you can see the base cover hanging down as the sofa has legs and us raised off the floor. No one advised that they wouldn’t deliver it to inside our home, and had the driver decided to leave it in my doorstep it would have been delivered straight back to your showroom. When in your store browsing we were railroaded into purchasing this suite, the sales person Gwen even said I should wait in the store while my husband went to the bank and got the deposit. I’m not interested how many years this company have been in business, all I want is my sofa to be repaired properly. If I could fix it myself I would but the base cloth is now too small as it has ripped where the staples were placed.
