Boots Haddington is not open today. A note in the window would have let people know what was happening as the staff were in the shop. Poor man had been waiting for an hour. Lots of angry people who had travelled to pick up prescriptions. A simple note in the window could have saved all that. COMMUNICATION!
Really got so much less efficient . A sign says prescriptions take up to 4 days ( need to add in 4 WORKING days ) my last simple prescription took 7 days , 13, including time for GP to issue , nearly 2WEEKS for a basic prescription and it still wasn't ready when I called in to get it as I'd ran out , and when I politely pointed out it was VERY delayed the assistant says "well we are v busy with a backlog " ( why there's no reason for this ) , my reply "well with all due respect that's not our ( the patients) concern/fault we still need our meds on time" . This has happened twice now . V Large queues of people waiting for their meds to also be told theirs isn't ready . Why , there's not a new GP surgery opened up that would account for increased work , we don't have an epidemic etc Totally unacceptable ,sort it out Boots management, that's why you're a manager !!!!
The staff in Haddington branch of Boots have no customer service training. They are so rude, all of them. This has happened several times and I’ve heard friends and family complain too. Never again!
My wife & I visit the Boots Pharmacy more often than we would like but have always been very appreciative & happy with the service we receive. With the huge expansion of Haddington over the last decade, the staff are always under pressure with the constantly increasing demand on their service. Hats off to all the team with a special mention to Daryl for his customer knowledge & dedication.
Boots in Haddington have been brilliant with my prescriptions being delivered. Even when a medication has been late due to unforeseen circumstances, Tom the delivery driver was brilliant. Nothing is too much trouble. Staff were polite pleasant and understanding. Thank you again for your service and for help. Drummond.
Friendly and helpful staff
Rude staff. Staff spend most of their time chatting. Very slow service. Sometimes prescription is not ready after 4-6 hours.
Stood in queue at two tills- only one person on till who was placing an order for a customer taking a while. Another customer asked staff member question about an item stocked behind the till and then they were served straight away while I was still waiting! Then the staff member walked away again? Few minutes later came back and shouted who's next? I do not consider this good service at all- staff name on receipt Abbi
Has improved dramatically since taking on a new pharmacy team & more staff. Used to be terrible, waiting times were at least 10/15 mins, prescriptions errors were high. Now it's much better, though can still be under staffed.
