   The doctor recommended I speak to this pharmacist after my daughter had an operation and I couldn’t get her follow up prescription at our other chemist. They were able to help – and ever since I’ve found them to be incredibly helpful and so friendly. The pharmacist has been very helpful and saved several visits to the doctor, and the lady who works there is always so kind to my young daughter. In comparison to the service I had previously at another local chemist – its night and day. I’d highly recommend to anyone in the local area to change to this one as their first choice. It really has excellent customer service.

   A fantastic service that was very much needed in the town. All staff are so friendly and will go out of their way to help in any way they can. Always on the ball with prescriptions. Have used minor ailments for the kids a few times and always given fantastic advice/treatments/reassurance. Thank you for bringing such a brilliant service to Penicuik.

   Turned up this morning for 09:00hrs to collect a prescription I need. Was told that they would just be a couple of minutes late. 15 minutes later standing in the rain, I was informed that they still couldn’t open as they had to have the pharmacist it. Pathetic service.

   Flu jab booked for 1030hrs Saturday 20th November. Been booked since 6th November. Arrived at pharmacy to be told they don't do flu jabs on a Saturday. Drove 20mins to get here for a booked appointment. The shop manager apparently tried to phone everyone to cancel. I've had no missed calls, voicemails or emails cancelling the appointment. Utter waste of time.

   Very poor service lately. They used to be the best but as from a month ago, things just took a turn for the worst. I have been there three times for my prescription that I ordered 8 days ago. Each time they have another story. The third time I went to collect my medicine as was promised after three o'clock, they said they do not have any stock. Raging, I took my script to another pharmacy but now have to wait another day for it. I have high blood pressure and an underactive thyroid, and I've been without any medication for the third day today. Something must be done to ensure better service in Penicuik. We're a small area and we do not have a large choice of pharmacies, unless you drive. I do not drive unfortunately due to bad eyesight.

   Incompetence and misinformation as always, seems like every time I come here they don't have what I need, are unable to answer basic questions or otherwise mess it up somehow. Was told my prescription would be ready this afternoon, went in and was told they hadn't received it. Walked across to the doctor who told me that no, Lloyds had collected it. Went back, again said they didn't have it. Asked them to check AGAIN, and oh, it was here all along, sorry. Half an hour later (an hour after I first arrived) I get my prescription. This was an hour I did not have to spare. Would never come here but the doctor sends prescriptions here as standard. Next time I'll collect directly from the doctor (Corona be damned) and go somewhere else.
