Edinburgh's best alternative bar, love visiting here, I visit most weeks. Great service, especially Sam. Solid intimate gigs. Wish they had Diet Irn Bru on the bar.

Great venue. Staff are all great, from security to bar staff. Great themed club nights with request friendly DJs at weekends. Amazing spot for gigs with some great bands regularly visiting and an amazing sound for such an intimate venue.
Came along for the new Tuesday night and had such a great time. Will be sure to return. Great prices, great music and got to request my favourite songs!

Despite us going in a day prior disgusting refusal tonight from this bouncer photo to share. I want to put a complaint in against this bouncer. As we had travelled up from Newcastle and been a day prior and had no such issue. Bars and clubs shouldn’t matter where your from as we got told too busy to enter yet seen people in the queue getting entry. If anyone can help me identify this man I want to take this further. Really disgusted by the service and to be honest just a rubbish end to our trip.
Been going to this bar for 20 years. Last night walked up to the door and was refused entry for no reason hadn't even touched alchol yet. Was first and only bar I go to. Does anyone have the bouncers numbers or addresses so I can speak to them this can't continue there turning folk down that have went to this place for decades with no problem
Unprofessional and shocking, literally talking about their relationships when there's 4 or 5 staff so 1 or 2 are left serving. I know their life story and I only went in for one drink while waiting for a friend. This was once a great bar but abysmal treatment, service, attitude and atmosphere... At least the door men were professional! Can't help thinking it's racism.. Don't visit, horrible venue full of teens and bigots!
