   my friend (who was with us) got let in by herself at 1:30, the bouncers wouldn’t let me and my other friends in as entry had stopped. there is no service in subway so there was no contact to my lone friend in the club who had no idea she was there alone! she had to get her own way back home. unsafe and all. we tried to reason we the bouncers, told them the situation. they clapped in our face and screamed at us to get away from the outside of the club. very disappointed. could’ve put my friend in a very VERY unsafe situation. i understand capacity entry, however, there is no reason to let in one person from a group when you know that the rest of the group could not get in. i do not recommend.

   Disappointing experience at Subway on Cowgate I was out having a good time with my friends when a bouncer suddenly asked me to come with him. He seemed to think I was someone else and tried to get me kicked out for no reason. After asking my name, they just said, “wrong person,” without any real apology or sincerity. It completely ruined the vibe for no reason. Really disappointing behaviour — they should treat people with more respect and check things properly before making assumptions.

   I went in at 1, the big light was on. it was busy but the music was popular slow songs and no one was dancing it was so awkward! it’s as if they just turned the radio on. paying £8 for entry for shite music is criminal! people want to go out and dance and subway ruins dreams

   I was having a very great time and ended up dancing on the booth. I wasn’t aware this was something that wasn’t aloud, but instead of being told, there were icecubes being thrown at me. I jumped of the booth straight away, but did ask the bartender why he did that. Throwing icecubes at people hurts and is very disrespectful. I went up to him very calmly to appologize, but to ask him not to throw icecubes at people. In response he signaled the bouncer to kick me out. The bouncer and his female bartender at 25-09-2025 were really great, both asking me if i was okay (another sign that their college’s behaviour was not okay), but they still showed me out. I really hope they keep this guy responsible for his actions. Throwing big humps of ice to his costumors is unacceptable behaviour. Do better!

   I am deeply disappointed by the experience I had at Subway Cowgate. After waiting in the queue for more than an hour, my friends and I were met with unprofessional, rude, and discriminatory treatment from one of the security staff. We provided all requested ID and followed all instructions, yet we were still spoken to and treated in a way that felt both racist and disrespectful. Such behaviour is unacceptable anywhere, and especially in a venue that should be welcoming to all customers regardless of race or background. Staff working in security should set the tone for safety and respect - not hostility and bias. This experience has left me feeling unwelcome and I will not be returning. I hope management takes this seriously, addresses the incident, and ensures better training and oversight of their team

   If I could give no stars I would. The bouncers were very rude to us and wouldn’t let us in giving no reason. We were all sober by the way, laughed at us too. Never had a problem until tonight. The way they spoke to me (knowing it’s my birthday) was horrific. Even another bouncer apologised to us for his attitude and said there was no reason for us not be let in.

   Bouncers wouldn’t let a group of 24 year old women in on an absolutely dead Wednesday night. I hope management know that their small-penised bouncers are costing them money. Maybe if I looked pre-pubescent those bouncers would’ve let me in! Off home to shave!

   Wasn’t let in for no reason at all. We were a small group of 6 of mainly young women. Pathetic bouncers on a power trip. I hope one day those bouncers get a taste of the power they so desperately crave through turning people away on a night that is absolutely dead. Shame on them, honestly a joke.

   Halloween night? Not really. Music was decent but not great, my friend got kicked out because she used the male toilets as the female queue was ridiculously long. In the future, it would be beneficial for them to take the amount of toilets available into account and also not kick people out without letting their friends know as it causes issues unnecessarily.

   Fun place. Most staffs are nice and I feel safety in here. I always like many flavors of VK. However, just one thing, tequila without salt and lime was bad moment.
