This afternoon I had an early scan at window to the womb. I arrived 5 minutes early for the appointment and was asked to take a seat and wait. Our waiting time was around 30 minutes - and with no explanation until we asked for this due to the receptionist not explaining that there would be a wait due to an earlier emergency within the clinic. This was fair enough and we understood but felt it was inconsiderate and unprofessional of the receptionist to have not notified us initially that there would be a wait. However, the woman that we did ask was lovely and we felt at ease after she’d explained. We were also given access to all photos and video as a result of this. I felt that the environment was poorly designed in that the seating area is very much open and in view of those coming in and out of scan rooms and in the same room as the desk where the scan is then discussed afterwards. I feel that privacy and individuals emotions weren’t considered in the set up of the environment as unfortunately for some, there isn’t always good news. The lighting and little decor in the waiting area felt very nhs hospital / dental practice rather than an inviting private space for people. There was a radio on playing dance music and the environment just lacked a calm, welcoming atmosphere. I wouldn’t return and would advise others to consider the kind of atmosphere they’d like for such a big moment that they are paying for. The Two stars are for the assistant in the scan room who had explained to us why we waited half an hour to be seen. Otherwise I wouldn’t recommend.

I've now had 2 scans here, an early reassurance scan and a gender scan - both times all staff couldn't have been nicer and made me feel extremely comfortable. With regards to after our gender scan (where we found out the gender in the room) we were told to pick our images and that they'd all be uploaded that night to the family room link I had joined up to previously via e-mail. A week later I still couldn't access them and phoned up and it was rectified instantly with the receptionist confirming I knew the gender as not to ruin any surprises before sending them over which I appreciated a lot. I'd also like to say my wee girl who is 2 and a half attended both appointments and everyone made a fuss over her becoming a big sister and took time talking to her which made her feel at ease also as she was a bit confused with what was happening to me up on the bed. Thanks again ladies, would highly recommend!

I visited here on 1/11/25 for a gender scan, I would just like to share my experience so others know what to expect when considering spending their money to come here. I was told to arrive 10 minutes before my appointment with a full bladder as my pregnancy is under 20 weeks, my appointment was booked for 12.00pm. I arrived with my family around 11.45am and we were told by reception staff they were running late, which is totally fine. However, I was then left sitting in a crowded waiting room getting increasingly uncomfortable/nauseated due to having a full bladder and already struggling with pregnancy related sickness. I wasn’t taken in for my scan until around 1.00pm, and this was only after a member of my family explained to a staff member how long we had been waiting. The actual scan was done professionally and all the staff seemed nice. I was very clear I didn’t want to know the gender yet as I would be purchasing a balloon to pop for a reveal afterwards. After the scan, myself and my partner were told we could choose images from the scan to print out and take home with us. The receptionist assured us that the images containing the gender wouldn't be visible. We both sat down and decided on 2 images, upon scrolling through we were both shocked to see one of the scan images had “It’s a Girl” written across - we had family around us and didn’t want them to see what we had just read so we quickly clicked away and left shortly after collecting our £30 balloon (which we now knew would be pink inside). As I say, the only reason we didn’t tell staff at the time is because we didn’t want to make a fuss and have to reveal the gender too soon to our family members. I wanted to write this review so that this hopefully wont happen to another couple and that the staff will take more precautions to ensure the gender is kept a secret, as we were both very disappointed it was revealed to us in this way. I would honestly appreciate a refund on the balloon because as I say, we spent £30 on this just for it to be revealed to us on the computer anyway.

Our experience with window to the womb was fantastic. First of all I want to thank the staff for making our second baby reveal so special. We had told them about personal events in our life that affected my mother in law and how this would be the only time she would get to see her grandson. Lauren and the staff went the were amazing and treated my mother in law and wife really well and I honestly can't put into words how blessed and happy it made my wife and I feel with how they treated us, I would highly recommend this business to anyone and I've not stopped talking to other people I meet about how nice and welcoming they were. Thank you again Lauren and staff in the Hamilton branch, you were all amazing. William and Nicola McLaughlin

We have had 2 wonderful experiences at Window to the Womb - a scan at 11 weeks for some reassurance after a UTI and then our gender scan at 15+3 weeks. On both occasions, staff have been so lovely, supportive and approachable. I felt extremely comfortable from the minute I walked into the clinic. I had the same sonographer on both occasions and she was amazing - explained everything clearly to us and really made us feel at ease. We got great scan photos too, very clear and exactly what you want to give you the reassurance you need. Would highly recommend Window to the Womb, we can't wait to return for our 4D scan!

Had an early reassurance scan in December and was so nervous but the ladies put me at ease and we're so welcoming. Returned for a wellbeing and gender scan and again the staff were so lovely. Made me feel so relaxed and even helped pick out some gifts for family members. Would 100% recommend! x

Attended for my first ever scan (6 weeks) and the staff were so lovely and helpful. Fast forward to 28 weeks for my 4D scan - couldn’t have picked a better place again to go. Staff went above and beyond to make it really special for my family and I. Recommend to everyone pregnant to go here! Thanks guys x

Wonderful experience tonight despite baby best being laid back and camera shy! The ladies were all lovely and reassuring. Lovely gift pack given at end of scan. Will be back soon for our 4D scan and maybe a wee teddy! Thanks again!

Lovely experience for my gender scan. The staff could not have been more welcoming or attentive. Baby was feeling rather camera shy so I was advised to go for a short walk and then they rescanned me and were able to find out the gender! A wonderful experience from start to finish. Would recommend to any soon to be Mum for reassurance/gender scans. Thanks again!
