Went to the minor injury unit yesterday. The girls at the reception desk were lovely, as was Marie who treated me. So appreciated everyone's humanity and kindness.

This hospital changed my life when I was 15 yrs old. Not only was my life saved physically following 2 operations whilst on holiday in Scotland. It is where I chose to become a nurse. That was 45 yrs ago. I just retired from a nursing career that I loved more than words.

A range of health services here. A minor injuries clinic but no Accident and Emergency Department. I regularly attend several of the clinics. There is a limited amount of parking, including some disabled spaces, adjacent to the building entrance, but larger car parks are within the grounds of the hospital. Wheelchair accessible and plenty of accessible toilets throughout the building. There is a lift from the ground floor to the first floor. The premises are clean and well looked after. The members of staff in the departments I visit are friendly, helpful and professional.

My Mum had amazing care during cataract surgery from the great Dr Julie and the fabulous nurse Ann. She was so well looked after as everyone was so kind and fun.

I attended the minor injuries unit a couple of weeks ago, for second degree burns, and went back the day after for redressing. Staff could not have been kinder. I am most grateful for all the help I received as I was in a state of shock.

I attended the Minor Injuries unit yesterday with a badly cut hand after falling running a half marathon. I just wanted to say what a positive experience it was. The receptionist was really friendly which was a great first impression. The nursing staff were all lovely, very caring and professional. Everywhere was very clean and tidy. An excellent service. Well done and thank you!
