Absolute joke of a practice. You spend an hour trying to get through at 8 in the morning, then you end up about 25th in the queue, finally you get through around 9 to make an appointment to be told there's none left and you can only make one if it's there's an emergency and you have to call back at 8 the next day. Honestly please avoid this practice at all costs it's utterly disgraceful. Woefully understaffed for the amount of patients it has registered. The problem I have now is that I can't switch practice to another one because they don't allow that so I'm now stuck with them unless I move from Cumbernauld. Avoid at all costs.

Terrible. They can’t be bothered with you. I had a receptionist try to diagnose me with a condition over the phone without knowing anything about me or my symptoms. They get appointments mixed up and are CONSTANTLY late. if your appointment is at 11 they’ll take you in at half past quarter to 12. They treat you like a massive nuisance.

I had a pretty bad experience where I ended up in hospital because I couldn't get an appointment with a doctor and the nurse was generally incompetent telling me I categorically didn't need antibiotics. Eventually I moved practice so I could get the medication I needed to recover from a bad chest infection. Upon the first visit I was given a week of antibiotics and steroids then referred to A&E because I was coughing up blood. That was early February. Today I called my new practice and in the space of half an hour had spoken to a doctor who left me a prescription to pick up later. I couldn't believe how simple the process was after going through an absolute song and dance with the staff at Kildrum Medical Practice for years. Most of the time I just tried not to call them or buy whatever I could over the counter because I already knew prior to calling, I wouldn't get any help. It is such a relief to be part of a competent medical practice now. It really shows how bad this place is. For the love of god. If you care about your health. Avoid here like the plague. Google. This isn't fake content. You can contact me personally though email and I can provide verification I was indeed a patient here for years. I see this company has had some bad reviews removed. That in itself is absolutely egregious. One I wrote previously was taken down.

I can honestly say I think Kildrum Doctors Surgery is fantastic. The doctors, nurses and reception staff are wonderful. Always feel like your needs are important. The reception staff are so lovely and friendly and go out of their way to help. I rave about our surgery to friends.

I have a patient of this practice nearly all my life. and the service has been excellent all those years. I use the surgery a lot due medical issues both personally and with my family. It saddens me to say this, in recent years things have begun to unravel a bit. There used to be 4 doctors, currently now only 2. Getting an appointment has got increasingly difficult. I’m not sure if this a specific decline here in this practice (the practice changed hands) or is a reflection of a more general malaise in the health system particularly after the COVID pandemic. There seem to be fewer receptionists on call to deal with things. Often you are put on queue just to be put onto the actual call queue itself. That said, when you do get through the receptionists are as friendly, helpful and courteous as they ever were. Their quality has never lowered. I get the impression they have to do more with less staff. They also seem hampered by procedures that they have to follow. I genuinely feel sorry for them. That said its still way better than some other surgeries both locally and further afield.

Been with this practice for 15 years and would never consider going elsewhere. The staff are truly amazing. The level of care offered in palliative situations is above and beyond and I will be forever grateful for all the care my mother received. She was never made to feel like a patient but as a respected member if the community. Yes the appointment times run over, but as explained and understood by my children, the people before us may have memory problems, be receiving bad news, need a little longer to explain their symptoms so sit patiently. An extra 20 minutes isn't going to kill you!

Excellent practice, Doctors listen and provide care above and beyond. Can't praise them enough. Nurses are fantastic and it's great to have a a nurse practitioner service. The reception staff are lovely, always greeted with a smile and pleasant manner, and helpful when phoning. Thanks to all ☺
