Vision express were so helpful. I wish I had got names . I think it was a supervisor with dark hair who asked me to let her know how I got on . I’ve got blood behind my left eye and hospital wasn’t sure if it was a clot or blood veins. I’ve to go back next week so I’ll keep you posted. Thank You Vision Express for your customer service.

Feedback on My Recent Visit I thought the optician I saw was very good – professional and thorough. However, it would be helpful if opticians could take a little more time to explain what each test is for. For example, when examining the back of the eye, a brief explanation of why it's being done would be appreciated. I had to ask questions like, "Why are you asking which colour is brighter?" – it would be better if this was explained as part of the process. I understand they may be conscious of time or the next appointment, but a few moments of explanation would improve the overall experience. I chose not to purchase glasses during my visit. The person assisting me in selecting frames offered very little help – they simply stood back and told me to open drawers. That’s not what I was looking for. I would have appreciated some guidance in choosing frames that suit my face, rather than being left entirely on my own. Despite being asked several times if I was going to choose frames, I didn’t feel supported, which ultimately led me to decide not to buy any. It felt like the main focus was on making a sale rather than providing a helpful service. Because of this, I’ll be going elsewhere to purchase my frames.
I needed my contact lenses for going on holiday on Wednesday. When I contacted them, i didn't have a contacts lens prescription, they arranged an appointment at the earliest convenience for me and I got my contacts delivered to my house on Saturday (within 3 days) which i was very pleased with. Also, during the appointment, I took a while putting my contacts in as i was doing it after ages and the staff member just left me to it and gave me all the time i needed which i appreciated. I would like to say a big thank you to the staff at vision express in silverburn and would highly recommend them.
Guy we got was great! Very nice, listened well, good service and brilliant payment plan. So all in all good. Can be a mixed bag based on who you get helping you but.

Today I was admiring some of the frames and glasses from afar when I was approached by a staff member. I said good afternoon and asked if they have any glasses that are only for screens/monitor wear. I was given a sharp “no” and I followed up with should I look online and again another cold “no”. Lastly I asked would I be able to find out the right size of glasses so I know what to buy and she “no I can’t help you”. Not being cheeky but what can you do? I feel there was zero customer service in my interaction and wasn’t offered any advise or assistance. Not sure why this interaction was this way but it’s left me looking elsewhere for better service.
