   Booked this place for 3rd time. The location was so close to my work place. The room was cold especially if I need to shower at 6am. I stayed in the room near the owners room where I can herd all sort of noise, baby crying family talking which really disturbing if you need a rest. The only reason I booked this place because is walking distance from my locum work.

   Experience has been completely let down by the staff. When we arrived, we were told we couldn’t get out of our car to check in due to a medical emergency inside (obviously this is not a problem!), we were told the staff would come to us when we were able to check in, approx 10 minutes. We ended up waiting over half an hour in the car in the middle of a storm, nobody ever came to speak to us again and we saw 2 or 3 separate couples over 10 minutes able to go into the reception and come out with keys, we had to speak to the guests to ask what was happening, they told us they’d been allowed to check in and weren’t even aware of any issue/delay, so not sure why we were still being made to wait and there was no communication from the staff after initially being told we couldn’t go in, this ended up making us late to an event we were going to after driving 4 and a half hours and ensuring we arrived earlier than needed. The stay over night was OK for the price the bed was comfy enough and the room was big, the shower was nice, however the room itself was extremely cold even with the radiators on full heat, I could barely sleep due to this. Then the next morning when we came to leave, we have noticed scratches and damage to our car and a plank of wood that has clearly fallen off the building and hit the car, we immediately alerted staff who were largely unhelpful for about half an hour, they informed us it had been repaired recently and must have fallen off in the storm, obviously they can’t control the weather but the “repair” had clearly not been completed to a good enough standard if parts of the building are literally falling off, they were completely unable to offer us any sort of resolution to the damage. We eventually had to leave to start the journey home so we asked for an email and managers details to contact them about the damage, we sent this email immediately when arriving home that day, and a week later we have still not had a response to the email.

   The location is pretty ideal if you're wanting good access to any public transport to major Glasgow locations, and it's right next to the rather lovely Queen's Park and nearby Shawlands that has supermarkets and charity shops and such, but the room itself wasn't all that great. Stayed in Room 9 and it was essentially a box with a bed and a tiny kettle. I will say that the shower had good hot water and nice pressure, and it was convenient when I needed a last minute stay, but I definitely wouldn't describe it as 3 star.

   The location of the hotel was very good and easy to access. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which we really appreciated. However, the cleanliness of the room was not great, and it was quite hot inside. Unfortunately, there was no fan or proper ventilation, which made it uncomfortable at times. Overall, good location and nice staff, but the room conditions could be improved.

   Stayed here for three nights.this is a lovely place room was clean and tidy. Shower was spotless and great pressure. The lady at reception is a beautiful lady and very professional. Plenty of parking and absolutely lovely gardens. I would not think twice about staying here again. Loved every minute of it. This place deserves more credit in other reviews.

   This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The manager is one of the rudest people I’ve encountered in my 45 years on this planet. He makes Basil Fawlty look welcoming. I’ve absolutely no idea how he works in hospitality. Avoid.

   My mum stayed here this week, and the hotel was so appauling that she checked out. There was no wifi in the room, and the staff are only present after 2.30pm so it is impossible to speak to anyone. The hotel then claimed she was a no show so that she wouldn't get a refund from booking.com. Booking.com however were incredible and have given her a refund. They also said that the hotel put 'no show' so that she couldn't leave a review. As a single woman she also felt unsafe staying in this hotel alone or speaking to any of the staff members. Would avoid at all costs.

   Absolutely, without any doubt, the worst 'hotel' I have ever stayed in. There are absolutely zero facilities on site! So it is more of a group of bedsits. The 'reception' is a boarded up, back door entrance vestibule. I made a complaint about the lack of wifi connection in Room 11 and am still waiting to hear about my refund as I checked out after one night. Do not recommend as hotel staff are uncontactable at most times and when contactable between 2.30pm and 9,30pm are not helpful. Was given key to the outside door which did not work - not a good start and anyway the outside door to the corridor was left open. Extremely poor quality of place. Not worth the money.

   Absolutely, without any doubt, the worst 'hotel' I have ever stayed in. There are absolutely zero facilities on site! So it is more of a group of bedsits. The 'reception' is a boarded up, back door entrance vestibule. With no way through to the rooms! You have to go back outside to a different door. The corridors smell badly of damp. There is a tiny dehumidifier on the ground floor, desperately trying to dry 3 floors of wet carpet. The room was nicely presented, but the mattress was awful. Worse still was the amount of black mould in the shower and the frayed, flat towels. Shocking! Just horrible. Yet, they charge the same as plush, city centre hotels that have a gym and/or a pool. Please avoid. Only half a step from a Council Health and Safety closure!

   I don't have anything bad to say about this place. We booked it last minute online and did so because is was so cheap, we paid £40 for a night's stay. The room was clean, fresh and tidy with a nice bathroom. I didnt expect much as we were paying so little but I was pleasantly surprised with what we got. It's in a great location for walking to bars a restaurants or jumping on the train into the city. Also has on site parking which is a big plus point.
