   The Clayton Hotel is centrally located close to the local ameneites. The hotel itself is soptlessly clean, spacious and beautifully designed. The staff are friendly, polite and courteous. The rooms are very comfortable. The meals are good despite there being a limited menu due to the time of the year. The breakfast options are variable and should suit everyone.

   We had a lovely stay here just before Christmas and were really pleased with our choice. Our room was lovely, had an amazing view of the river. we were perfectly situated for shops, restaurants and The Ovo which is why we were there. I will definitely stay here again and would recommend it. We had a triple room and it was nice that is was actually set up for three not two as is normally the case.

   Perfect location near the shopping area, as well as being by the open space with river views. Had a lovely sunset view over the river from our bedroom. Hotel had a lovely atmosphere, lots of different lounge rooms to sit and relax. Could have easily spent a day just sitting in the hotel. Fab decore. Our room was very clean, organised and loved having an iron and board and a working hairdryer unlike other hotels we've been in. We would love to come back again.

   First time staying here at the Clayton in Glasgow and have no hesitation in recommending. Great staff, polite and helpful. Great room, clean, comfortably fitted out with a comfy bed/mattress. And a relaxed, extensive breakfast buffet. Well done Team Clayton.

   Lovely hotel and lovely staff. Great service and ex excellent sleep. Explained to reception, there was a few issues with room, as I needs a paint refresh, tiles brocken around toilet, Air vent coming of wall and throw was marked, was fded over with cleaner so you voukdnt see. It didn't spoil or stay, but would have been nice to have a perfect room.

   I enjoyed my stay in this hotel. I understand that it's recently been opened and you can tell that it's very luxurious and the rooms are well-equipped. However, unfortunately I found several large pubic hairs dotted around the bathroom sink when I first went into my room. They were so noticeable; I can only assume the room wasn't properly cleaned.

   The staff is fantastic! The hotel's location is great, within walking distance from and to the bus and train stations, museums, attractions, venues, shops, bars, and restaurants! The price of the room was reasonable. I would stay here again and recommend it too!

   Lovely new hotel in the heart of Glasgow and close to all restaurants and shops. High floors give great views over the city. Hotel is recently refurbished across the whole hotel. Staff were excellent and nothing too much trouble. Would recommend. Thanks

   First visit and wont be the last. Located on the river close to all shops and restaurants. Staff were polite, friendly and professional. The bar area was modern and welcoming. Menu was varied and reasonably priced. Rooms were modern, clean, luxurious, spacious and well equipped with everything you need. Good supply of tea and coffee (but no shortbread unfortunately). Best sleep I have had in months. Shower was powerful and spacious. Well worth the £150 we paid for 1 night for 3 people.

   I stayed in the hotel for the weekend and I had such a wonderful experience. From the moment you arrive you are made to feel very welcomed, the building has a great design, the rooms were spacious and comfortable - which was a delight to come back to relax after exploring the city. And one of the highlights of the hotel is the excellent and friendly staff from reception, the bar and throughout, like Sharon on breakfast whose friendliness was catching and made such a good start of the day. I definitely recommend this hotel, the location is great for town centre (close to walk but far from the real noise). I will come back next time I visit Glasgow.
