I cant thank the staff in this hotel enough, from booking error they sorted and listened,to arriving, they were so kind, the room upgrade, the pool and staff here and the bar staff keeping an eye on me as I was a female myself. They asked if I was ok when a gentleman approached my table.security watched my glass of wine whilst I nipped too loo. If I could give 100.stars I would. God bless them all, especially this time of year. Honestly if I could stay here longer I would. Lynsey and forever grateful x

I usually never leave the reviews but we have to this time. This is the worst hotel we ever stayed. I still can not belive this is marriot hotel. Im sure Motel6 might be better then this location. We don't even expect 5 stars service or condition from them but they are way blow from anybodys expectation. We had quit a few problems at this location. My husband got food poisoning from the lounge area, hotel service is horrible, rooms condition is awful(most uncomfortable bed, moldy comforter, bathroom stinks, AC unit pretty much not working and very loud and water presure is awful). We ended up changing the room twice but pretty much all room conditions weee same. We were hurried when we checked out and left a black sling bag( has sunglass, earbuds few none valuable item) so I called them right away from the taxi and they said they would call me back but they didn't. I ended up calling them back and they said they couldn't find it which wasn't shocking considering what we experienced there. I still can't believe we survived 10 nights there and I dont even know how they even got 4.1 stars reviews. Unbelievable.

Not a bad hotel but just feels a bit disjointed. The bar and eating areas are nice, and we enjoyed some decent cocktails. Breakfast was also good. The room and bathroom felt a bit dated and as others have said it's not the cleanest hotel. Also noticed, trays of room service are often left out in walkways for too long. Staff on check in and check out didn't seem bothered or eager to welcome / say goodbye. I wouldn't rush back but at least know it's not a terrible place to stay.

A superb hotel in a great location with easy access to the city. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, making the stay very comfortable. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-equipped with excellent heating and a large TV — perfect for relaxing after a day out. The restaurant being open 24 hours was a real highlight — the food arrived within 15–20 minutes and the portions were generous and delicious. There is paid parking available, though it would be even better if private or complimentary parking were offered. Overall, a fantastic experience with great service, comfort, and convenience. Highly recommended for both business and leisure stays.

While it’s a nice hotel, both times that I have stayed there there is an internal noise that doesn’t allow you to sleep properly. I am not sure if it’s the air conditioning. The breakfast is perfect and the restaurant/cafe/bar provides excellent food for dinner.

Been sometime since I last stayed here. Service was first rate, especially at Breakfast. Room was good as always although a better quality shower is more usual these days. Overall, I enjoyed my short stay and would use this hotel again.

Perfect location for a city break. Walking distance to the city centre all the shopping bars, main stations walking distance to the river too but still great for a quiet night sleep. Leisure centre is great. Small but private gym, excersise hall, swimming pool with stream room and sauna. Very clean and looked after with lockers.

Really poor accessibility. Room was a 'disabled' room,,, miles from the lift, long long walk. There's only 1 room in the entire hotel with a walk in shower. An 'accessible' room has an overbath shower with grab rails randomly placed by a baboon. It has a really short bath meant to mean disabled folk can access. Meant I couldn't have a shower, an able bodied partner couldn't have a bath. Spa was accessible thru the outside car park and down a flight of steps. Total rubbish. I fell my first day there. They gave me money off, but I wrote a letter of complaint and in spite of following up with 2 phone calls no-one has bothered to get back to me. Staff lovely, amenities rubbish.

For me the highlight of this hotel is the staff who work during the breakfast shift (the lovely lady with the plait who's name I will try harder to remember so I can update this review with it) who served me most mornings and made my day. The gentleman who brought my room service was always lovely too. Thank you both for being fabulous! Overall it's always a pleasure staying here! Hotel room is always nice, though the room wasn't vacuumed for a couple of days. Not sure what you're policy is on this, but would have been good to have had that done when it was needed!
