Room was tiny for 2 people, had to share 1 towel, room very tidy and clean though. Hotel very tidy but running at minimum staff which was very evident at Dinner. After being seated, had to go to desk 20 mins later, to ask if we could order drinks and food, waited further 20 mins for both to arrive. Food was pretty terrible, but was starving so made do. Staff run off feet, needed at minimum double more. In general, nice hotel, good staff, TERRIBLE food.

It didn't feel like a Hilton because the building is old and the rooms are all small and outdated. The pillows were also weird, big but empty so when you put your head on you sink right down. The breakfast was annoyingly split so i didnt even know there was toast/mueseli/juice until i went to leave. I just wanted some milk but had to go for hot chocolate on the weird coffee machine. Not very impressed by the offering. The staff were nice and the dining area and bar were nice. But it was less luxurious than a premier inn. Overall not bad but not what I expected

AVOID!!!!! So called luxury hotel!!!! Stayed at hilton garden inn Glasgow, Dec 6th, good location for ovo hydro for concert... Thats all. Not Hilton standards anywhere in this place. Breakfast was tasteless and limited choice for £14 per head, better choice, price and service at wetherspoons, no fried eggs, no hashbrowns, and no potato scones, when enquired about it i was told they where waiting on the oil heating up for the potato scones...really??? This was 2 hours into breakfast service.. the foh girls standing about " socialising" while customers waited to be seated.. and one girl had nails like talons and couldn't lift the plates properly from tables. On way to check out, the corridor had plastic bags and towels discarded over the corridor floor by the cleaners next to their cleaning trolley and i had to move it all just to get past with my cases. Reported to reception but they didnt seem interested. Dont waste your money!!! AVOID! AVOID! AVOID!

Well what can I say about this hotel! It's location for the near by venues is great, and if you have a car, its £10 to park all night. When we booked we planned to have dinner here, unfortunately we were emailed to say that food would not be available due to 'a private function' not happy about this and it wad too late to book other hotel. Room great and the view we had was nice, but only two coffee sashes in the room, I suppose we could ask for more!!! The show was amazing and the products in there were delightful. Room also had a iron board, iron and hairdryer, but our sheets did not tuck in and moved a lot when in bed. Due to the 'private event' a bar was available in some kind of room. This felt to us and others, like we were attending a wake at someone's funeral, not the best venue for a romantic drink and special weekend away. Sorry Hilton, not great

Decent hotel. Rooms are nice enough but a wee bit small if you have two people or lots of stuff. The hotel is located a little out of the way but may be nice for people who like a quieter vibe. Breakfast was not worth the price of admission to be honest. Views from the room are awesome if you are on the river side!

Very good hotel right at the city centre with some good views Very accessible and the car park is handy incase you drive. Good buffet selection available for breakfast. The room had no soap available in the bathroom, I wish this can be checked before a new guest is booked.

This is a 3 star property at best, I don't know how it got its 4 stars, the room is very basic, is the bar really so low in Glasgow? No one ever picks up the phone, either reception or operator, or is the phone in my room broken? The mini fridge in my room was not functioning, I went down to the reception, hear this, lol "...the fridge is not supposed to cool anything down, it stays kinda warm..." with another receptionist echoing " yeah, it's not a freezer...". I'm sorry, so what purpose does the fridge serve then? just another regular storage unit with room temperature? who trained these people? can't even give an excuse that actually makes sense? Later on, I asked for a pair of slippers, they said they don't have that. If you're gonna call yourself a 4 star hotel, at least offer standard 4 star amenities.

Overpriced for what you get. The hotel is undergoing construction works, and my 'room with a river view' I paid for actually looked out onto the scaffolding and the window was covered in grime. However the staff at the front desk relocated me to a better room without any hassle. There was no mention at the point of booking that construction works were going on. The room interiors are dated and in need of a refurbishment - stained and torn carpets, extractor fan in the toilet not working, skirting boards grubby and not cleaned, some odd smells in the room. Breakfast in the morning was very good. I have had better stays at a premier inn and for far less cost.
