It is a nice hotel overall. The design is very simple, and the current Christmas décor was rather sparse and basic. Our room was spacious and clean, with nice linen and towels; however, it lacked some details such as additional amenities or basic kits. Loved the views of the city. What I liked most is the location. If you are driving and need parking, this is a convenient place to stay, with easy access to the M8 motorway. And it's also a walking distance to most attractions east or west of the city center. Breakfast was good, with enough options to suit different dietary needs. The executive lounge is a nice addition, and I would recommend booking an executive room for access. Staff were friendly and helpful.

I recently stayed at the Hilton Glasgow and was thoroughly impressed by the experience. The rooms were exceptionally comfortable and spacious. Everything was spotless, from the lobby to the guest rooms, reflecting the hotel’s high standards of cleanliness. Breakfast was a real highlight, offering a wide variety of fresh and delicious options to suit all tastes. Whether you’re into a hearty Scottish breakfast or lighter continental fare, there’s something for everyone. The location is ideal. Central enough to access major attractions, restaurants, and transport links with ease, What truly made the stay memorable was the staff: Warm and always welcoming. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Glasgow, whether for business or leisure. I’ll definitely be returning!

The hotel room refresh recently completed nearly got it right, but somewhat baffled by the decision not to have any storage shelves / units in the large wardrobe - so when staying for 4 nights I ended up laying my clothes out on the bench below the TV as per the picture. Never in my 20 years of travelling for work have I needed to do this. The rest of the room design and decor / bathroom was spot on - just let down by this oversight. What was also really disappointing (given rooms were costing almost £200 a night room only) was the can of still water in the fridge wasn't replaced each day - returning to the hotel after a long day wanting a drink was really frustrating - Hotel claims to be 4* but this felt more like something in a 2* hotel. The location when staying without a vehicle isn't brilliant, the walking route from City Centre down Waterloo Street and Bishop lane / Bishop Street not great and st.vincent street no obvious route when you see Hilton sign ffrom Waterloo St.

We stayed at the Hilton Glasgow for three nights. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, plenty of room for a family to relax. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of options for both adults and kids. However, we had a few issues with service and comfort. Calls to the front desk, laundry service, and housekeeping went unanswered several times, and I had to go downstairs in person to get assistance. The team was helpful once I spoke with them directly, but I expected faster phone response from a Hilton-level hotel. Another inconvenience was the room temperature. The heating and cooling are controlled centrally, and when one of my children wasn’t feeling well, I asked if the temperature could be increased slightly. The front desk informed me that it wasn’t possible to adjust it, which was quite frustrating and uncomfortable. The location is great, close to Glasgow’s main attractions and very convenient for sightseeing. Finally, when we arrived, there was no one available to help with luggage. As a full-service Hilton, I would have expected staff to assist with unloading, especially when travelling with children and multiple bags. Overall, it was a good stay, the rooms and breakfast were fantastic, but the service responsiveness, temperature control, and arrival support could be improved to meet the standard expected from Hilton.

Excellent hotel. Extremely friendly staff. Nick and Charlotte on the front desk are amazing. Also, Carol Ann and Leo in the Executive Lounge are just the nicest people, so genuine and caring. Beds are comfortable, so quiet too. Really recommend.

We had a lovely trip visiting the Hilton. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. I would highly recommend it. My only two downsides from the trip were the breakfast and dinner were a bit bland in flavour and the dinner menu could do with some more vegetarian options. And secondly, as we are a throuple we would have preferred to book a king room for 3 people rather than a double double room, but there was no option for 3 people to a king room.

Stayed here last week for the first time. Was extremely impressed. Service was top notch. Rooms were very good. Breakfast was good. I'm a Hilton Diamond member who usually stays in Asia. This was that level of room and service. Still surprised a week later!!

Centrally located - near many of the city's attractions, and a good variety of restaurants within walking distance. The room was comfortable and the front desk was top notch. Staff was friendly and accommodating. The restaurant staff was great, and food tasty. This is a great hotel for couples; clean, safe and close to Sauchiehall Street. Everyone who works here went out of their way to ensure we had a good stay. I plan to stay here again on my next trip to Glasgow.

Rooms have been updated and new lighting makes them so much better, comfortable too. Arrived early and there was a room the same available so they let us check in early. Great diamond upgrade, much appreciated, liked the new lounge and offerings. Bar area is nice, good breakfast and friendly, efficient staff.
