The location is very convenient. Easy walk to the city centre, shops, restaurants, and transport. The hotel has a modern, clean vibe and everything feels well thought out. The room was compact but smartly designed, very clean, and comfortable, especially the bed. One small thing - the room light wasn’t working, but that honestly wasn’t a problem for me as I was only staying for one night and just wanted a good sleep. I could also hear water running through the pipes whenever someone in the next room used the shower or tap, which is worth mentioning, though it didn’t really affect my stay. Continental breakfast was not bad, with a decent selection and good quality.

Spent one night at the Yotel in Glasgow. The price was reasonable for one night at $130 cdn. Location would be hard to beat. Next door to the train station, JD Wetherspoon next door for cheap eats and drinks and walkable to all places in Merchant city. We were able to check in upon arrival which was nice. There check in starts at 11 am which is not typical for hotels. It would be nice to have a 12pm check out like Travelodge offers but the early check in offsets this. The room was a little tight once the bed was extended out but it was manageable. The TV has a cool back light surrounding that changes colours. The bathroom is a limit wierd because if you turn on the lights in the middle of the night to use it it illuminates the entire room due to its design and it being essentially part of the main sleeping area. Wish we would have know about free coffee up stairs at the bar. I would stay here again and would recommend Yotel when in Glasgow.

I booked into the Yotel last minute due to being stranded in Glasgow unexpectedly on a Thursday night. I was travelling for business and requested a room away from the lift and explained that I’d had a long journey and would appreciate being allocated a room in a quiet area of the hotel. The receptionist was very understanding and allocated me room 428. The room was spacious, clean and only had one room next to it as the other wall faced out onto the corridor - so far so good! What then followed was the worst night of ‘sleep’ that I’ve ever experienced in a hotel. By midnight I’d had enough of listening to voices echoing through the air conditioning pipes & vents (presumably from the room above as there was no adjoining room on that side). I could also hear water coming through the pipes every time someone took a shower, to the point where I got up and turned on the lights because I expected there to be a flood in the room! I called reception to request that I move rooms and they told me that if I had a problem with noise in this room then I’d have a problem in them all - not exactly helpful or understanding of the situation. Reception then went on to say that people have different expectations of what their hotel stay will be like - well my expectation is that you’ll be able to sleep! They did say they’d send security up but it made no difference. The noise continued throughout the night and I’m now writing this review at 5am after being awoken again by loud shouting from another room. Please don’t put yourself through the pain of staying at the Yotel unless you plan on partying through the night with the rest of the guests.

The Yotel in Glasgow is a lovely modern hotel. The check-in staff are very welcoming and friendly. The room was ‘compact & bijou’ with most items that you need, such as an iron, iron board and hairdryer. The bed was comfortable, it was an electric adjustable one! There was a good sized tv which featured a shelf. However there is no kettle or coffee facilities in the room. The shower was powerful but the door didn’t close properly. The lights went off twice when I was in the toilet and once when I was showering. However I would stay there again. The breakfast was very good lovely fresh pastries/croissants. It is a convenient location to 'The Baltic Chamber' where I was heading that day.

Really nice clean minimally decorated small rooms. Ambient lighting as to the feeling of calm in these rooms. Super comfy bed. Helpful staff and delish breakfast from the seventh floor with great view! Centrally located for ease of getting about. Felt safe. Would stay again when next in Glasgow for sure.

We loved how stylish the hotel was. The room was very spacious and had amazing window views bringing extra light into the room. I am definitely trying this hotel in other locations. Breakfast has a delightful setup as well. I would like to thank Jason who made sure to provide us with our requests.

Very nice hotel with the best hotel showers I have ever enjoyed. Bed was pretty big (I'm 6'9" and I almost fit in it). Bar upstairs is quite nice as well with especially in the afternoon a nice view. Also has a bowling alley for some easy fun. Located very close to the central station a very good starting point to get into the city centre of Glasgow.

Loved my stay here. The staff was friendly and the location is great - right across from the train station which made for easy transit. The gym is also well equipped with weights, cardio machines, and a few weight machines. It's clean and open 24 hours, which is hard to find at hotels. The room was nice and modern, but a bit small (no desk). But it had an adjustable bed, a nice big TV, AC/heat, and a bathroom with free shampoo, conditioner, and lotion. Would highly recommend!
