   The bathroom door didn't open wide enough for my electric wheelchair 2 get in. Moving around the room was extremely difficult and I couldn't do it. My left leg doesn't bend at all so it sticks out and causes problems with maneuverability. Outside in the parking is full of stones and extremely difficult to navigate with a wheelchair. I got stuck numerous times. I don't advise booking at this place if you are in a wheelchair. Clearly this place is not wheelchair accessible from my experience and I don't recommend it at all.

   I can sum up this location with one word “AVOID”. Other reviews will comment on the rooms etc but we didnt even get that far. Booked and paid for in May24, last personal communication from Natalie in Oct 24, only to arrive Dec 24 and be told that there is no longer a booking. I couldn’t even speak with Natalie in person but it was via her elderly Mum on a mobile ( Natalie didn’t answer my calls). Natalie told me she has stopped using the booking agent we had used. They confirmed the account was still active and were not aware of this! Natalie simply said she can’t help and it’s between us and the booking agent. Picture the scene, travelling since 4am, flights to Scotland, busy day and now sitting in the middle of nowhere, in a hire car with the rain pounding on the roof. It’s dark and cold, only to be told the booking you’ve paid for doesn’t exist and”tough” it’s a you problem! No compassion, no offer to sit in the warm whilst we resolve things.. nothing! Simply put out in the cold and left to resolve things ourselves. Don’t take the chance on this happening to you! Avoid and go elsewhere!

   Arrived to a really welcoming host Natalie, showed me into my room and made sure I was catered for. The room was warm and clean and exactly what anyone could ask for on arrival. Facilities were great and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was a help yourself service and had all you’d need to get your day going. Overall my experience here has been fantastic and a place I will certainly recommend to others. Only thing I may suggest is that the shower be improved slightly, but by no means was it bad, just lacks power.

   Last minute booking for myself and my daughter, has everything you need! Natalie had even went out of her way to buy a few kids magazines for my little girl. Room clean, plenty of space, breakfast...a help yourself continental which worked out great for my daughter playing at cafes and serving me.

   Such a beautiful place to stay! Rooms are spacious and decorated nicely. You are not far from Glasgow. Natalie is an amazing host, very helpful and friendly. We had a very warm welcoming. They have some nice Scottish which we really enjoyed.
