   This was a travelling stop for us between the Midlands and Inverness. The room was quite small but very clean and well decorated and at a good price. There was plenty of tea coffee and milk plus biscuits. Breakfast was not included in the price but the pub seems to do good breakfasts, lunch and evening meals. There was also a number of other places to eat nearby plus the local area was nice for a stroll round. Staff at the pub were friendly and helpful.

   Just had a 2 night stay as a family of 4 (2A 2C). Perfect location for exploring and rooms comfortable, clean, and welcoming. We also had food and drinks in the pub & restaurant, staff were excellent and the service was great.

   Great place to stay for a night. Room was clean and tidy, it has an ensuite bathroom, everything what you need for a cup of tea was provided in the room. Beds are comfortable and it wasn't too noisy outside the pub, despite it being a Friday night. Only downside that the window was facing to the courtyard where the smoking area was, so hardly got a chance to open the window. Apart from that great stay!

   Good basic hotel room. Clean and comfortable. One of the windows had a broken hinge, so couldn't really be opened, but otherwise great. And always a bonus in a budget hotel... a good shower!! Quite a lot of noise from the outside bit of the pub directly downstairs. Not great as we had a child with us, but thankfully, she sleeps well!!

   Excellent. Very clean and tidy. I couldn't find any faults with the service. Food was very good. Staff were very nice and friendly. I would definitely go back again, no complaints. No problem parking the car either.

   Had a lovely 3 night stay here last weekend with my 2 teenage girls. It's about a 5 kin rant ride from Cumbernauld train station. Not quite above but sort of above and to the side of a nice little pub. Didn't disturb us at all during the night. Lots of little food places and a spar and pharmacy doors away. In the cutest little village. Firstly the rooms where immaculate. Everything g was spotless. Bed where so so comfy. Plenty of places to put all our things. Didn't hear any other guests even tho I know the rooms where occupied so don't worry about noise. Went down to the pub bit in the morning. Had breakfast and coffee while we waited to go home. I didn't eat myself but my girls said the food was lovely. The girl behind the bar was absolutely lovely. So helpful and smiley which is always nice to see. Met the owner in there. Jacqueline. She was lovely too. So helpful and couldn't do more for us the entire stay to be honest. Will 100% stay here when I'm next in Scotland. Wouldn't even bother looking anywhere else now actually. Thanks again.x Also pictures don't do it justice. And we had unpacked at this point.

   Great little place not far from the towns centre which is ideal if you want to be close to everything but also far enough away so it's quiet surroundings. Rooms are perfect for a 1/2 day weekend trip away or if you are on a business trip. WiFi in the rooms. And there is a great bar area and also a lovely restaurant literally 5 footsteps away from the hotel.

   The room was small but very clean. Only one tea bag with the tea and coffee tray, but soon sorted the next morning when I saw the chambermaid. There is a a restaurant attached called The Coorie where meals can be found at reasonable prices. There are also a few takeaways within easy walking distance if you want.
