Lovely member of staff at desk. Rooms nice and clean. Room facing busy street. Could do we triple glazing for the noise. Hardly slept all night. Very handy for SEC

Very nice hotel with the room we booked being larger than we expected. The reception was kind. Disliked · The structure of the building is a bit on the older side for the price. Getting around can be a bit of a walk anywhere from 30-40 minutes to the terminal bus station. Not much food near by you would walk about 10 minutes before you see restaurants. There is no elevator in the hotel. Too expensive for what we got.

I had to pay 10£ extra for the breakfast which wasn’t the worth… the room is good and compact… it was warm during the night as the heaters were on 24*7… The front desk staff is kind and they are knowledgeable…

I very much enjoyed staying here. ☺️ Staff is kind and very helpful. The building has it old charm. There are 3 subways stations about 16-20 min walk. Kelvinhall is the best one as it is just a walk down the road and avoids the park at night. Bus stops just out front of hotel. There is loads of places to eat and there are grocery stores near by. The beds are a little uncomfortable. Besides the bed, I would stay here again

My wife & I stayed here recently to go to a gig at the OVO Hydro down by the river Clyde, having read some of the reviews by other people about this hotel I was quite disappointed with it , there are 2 parking bays just outside the hotel but you have to get a ticket from across the road to stay there , at £1.20 for 15 mins it was very expensive to park there but the receptionist told me about a cheaper place to park which is manned all day & locked up at night , ( £15.00 all day & night ) , the rooms are very basic & have a TV, kettle, tea & coffee etc, a small bathroom with water, shower & sink . Check online if breakfast is included with your room , if not it's £10.00 per person payable at reception, if you don't want a breakfast here just a short walk towards the city centre is a wetherspoons pub which does a lovely breakfast & drink cheaper than the hotel , personally I found some of the staff there need to go on a course to help with their service manners to the public , most were easy to talk too but a few of them seemed very abrupt , there are plenty of bars, restaurants & shops very close to the hotel& about a 30 to 40 minutes walk into the city centre , just a note to say have plenty of coins handy when parking anywhere in Glasgow as all the meters are coin only & very expensive too ( no wonder all the attractions are free entry if your getting scalped paying for parking) anyway the rooms are clean & big enough for 2 adults & like I said basic , good if your staying for 1 or 2 nights .

Location, was 10mins from city centre with busses every 5mins from the front door or within walking distance to the centre, perfect place to stay if you're visiting the hydro as its a short walk. Beds all brand new extra but double check your room has been checked and changed properly, the cups and towels both dirty and not checked and replaced but my friends room was fantastic so could be genuine once off. Breakfast was fantastic and staff were lovely!

Fantastic hotel for the price we paid. Great location, friendly and helpful staff. The shower was disappointing, but the rest of the stay made up for it. Breakfast was fantastic! A very short walk from Kelvingrove, which I highly recommend!

We stay here almost every time we visit Glasgow. It's an ideal location for anything we want to including ovo within walking distance. Vast variety of bars and restaurants cafes etc. Always clean, staff friendly and helpful. Good wee bite in morning to get you going .

You get what you pay for. The hotel overall needs refurbishment but more urgently, the center bed in room 201 desperately needs a new mattress!! Please change it. Making your guests sleep in such torn down mattress is unacceptable. The family room was massive but you could hear people around in night. Overall a decent stay and prices are low.
