We had a wonderful stay at Mercure Glasgow for two nights. A special mention goes to the lovely breakfast, which was truly enjoyable. The room service was also excellent, and the food stood out for its great taste and quality. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience, and we would love to stay here again.
Stayed only for one night, but it was a memorable experience. First off, I received a chance room upgrade, always a pleasure. Room was fully furnished and equipped, better than I'm used to elsewhere, complete with a selection of cosmetics and refreshments. Late at night, I went down to the reception with a few requests after realizing how many things I forgot to pack, not only did Rohan at the desk provide, but he did so kindly and free of charge. 5 stars, stayed for business but would come back in my free time again.
We had a twin room. The beds were very comfortable. The room was a little small but sufficient enough for a two-night stay. The bathroom had everything required. We would prefer a walk-in shower rather than a bathtub with shower over it but the shower was fine. One issue was the phone charging points which didn't seem to work. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the luggage store facility very convenient. The hotel is very central and good value for money on the deal we had.
I was at the hotel for 8 days. Over that time I was very impressed with Rohan, Matthew, Crispy and Joy all of whom were very friendly, helpful and went out of their way to may my time at the hotel enjoyable. They offered excellent customer service and they are excellent ambassadors for this hotel. I enjoyed the breakfast and appreciated being able to have menu items cooked to order, their chef made my start to the day a good one. This is a great location. Thank you for a great stay.
Excellent experience from start to finish. Rohan at the front desk was outstanding. Friendly, professional, and always willing to help. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was smooth during my stay. I was pleasantly surprised to see him at the restaurant as well, where he continued to provide excellent service. The food was delicious, and the staff were attentive and welcoming. Truly a great experience overall. Highly recommended!
Friendly and attentive staff, always made to feel welcome and any requests are fulfilled. I stayed here during Christmas with work and they left a lovely basket of sweets for me with a note to make it easier for me being away from home. I always stay here and would recommend to anyone! Also the food is always tasty!
Comfy bed, clean although small & dated room. Staff were friendly & helpfull. We stayed for 3 nights and the best thing about this hotel is Jack, he is undoubtedly an asset to the hotel a very pleasant and helpfull young man.
We had our wedding yesterday 8.10.22 and I can honestly say it was amazing from start to end. The manager Angela and all her staff were absolutely outstanding. From the beginning canapes, wedding breakfast right through to the evening reception! Our room was amazing too and we especially loved the finer wee details added to it. Staff was great! Breakfast was delicious (and so consistent — we ate there six days in a row and it was always amazing). Only downside was the room was a little small for two people, and our view wasn’t the best. On the upside, the room was so quiet— we didn’t hear our neighbors or the elevator once. Would definitely stay here again.
Tired looking room was very small. The furniture is too big for the size of the room. Not my usual stop by choice so knew what I was getting. The breakfast was decent. Cooked breakfast too, buffet style. The price was reasonable. It deserved a 2 star but due to the breakfast its a solid 3 star. Would not return due to size if the room. I could hard sit down at the desk due to lack of spacing.
