I booked this hotel around 10 months out of our upcoming trip through a booking site at a very good price - under GBP$100. It was cancelled by the property out of the blue three weeks ahead of our trip on the pretext my card declined when they checked it. I emailed the property but got no response. No response from the booking site either even though I sent a message to their customer service & updated the card as requested. I checked the hotel website to book directly later that day but found there were no vacancies for my date so I can only speculate my cheap booking was cancelled & resold at a much higher price. I've now booked another hotel at a much higher price - using the same card that 'apparently' declined. After reading Google reviews I find cancellation by the property out of the blue has happened to other people. Fortunately this doesn't seem to be representative of any other hotel I've booked for our holiday but it still leaves a sour taste in the mouth.

Room on the upper floor so quiet but lots of stairs. Room was clean. Really good shower. Had to wait to order breakfast. They seemed to have forgotten about us!! We stopped a waitress to order. Breakfast room was very small and cramped. Cooked breakfast was fair but did not reflect the charge for B&B. Most expensive B&B I have ever been in. I expected more for the price we paid. A way out of the centre but I knew the location. It was ok but pricey.

Reasonably priced hotel within easy walking distance to the centre of Glasgow. Clean and comfortable rooms and a nice breakfast. Friendly staff.

***DON'T STAY OR BOOK THIS*** The property is a good location yet internally th3 building is about to collapse despite their a lot of wallpaper to hide it and the dark carpet to hide the very dirty property. It's smells, no good ventilation, and you will hear everysteo in the property.. the worse place I've stayed in my entire life..

Nice clean, comfortable room. Friendly staff & a lovely breakfast. Handy for Glasgow city centre shops & rail stations.

Fab budget hotel, the staff that I met were lovely and the room perfect for a wee overnight stay. It had everything I needed for my visit and the room was really clean, as was the ensuite although maybe a wee bit more attention to the cleaning of the silicon and seals in the shower, but all in all a great place and the location is perfect for city centre and the concert venues.

Good value for money. Expect to get what you pay for, the room is down to earth and no frills. In saying that, it is clean, warm and comfortable. Our shower room looked like a fairly new addition and the shower worked very well. The staff were very friendly and helpful, giving us suggestions of places to visit. Breakfast was great, full breakfast, vegetarian full breakfast (so we were happy), various egg options, cereals, cheeses, meats and fruit juices. The hotel has its original staircase which is lovely to look at, but not so much fun if you have dodgy knees. It was 44 steps up to our room at the top of the house! We stayed 3 nights. Perfect for a short stay exploring Glasgow. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Very polite staff. We rented a room at Hampton Court after Point A Hotel decided to cancell our reservation made 3 months ago right in the last second without any explanation. We didn't know some of the rooms were with shared bathrooms which was a bit shocking but the staff was very helpful and we paid a but more for another room with its own bathroom. I was nicely surprised by the breakfast. Plenty of choice- Scottish breakfast, cereals, toasts, muffins, fresh fruits, you name it. Very pleased with our stay here.
