It's a true shame about the shape, condition and cleanliness of this place. As staff are accommodating. Cannot come and go as you please early in morning if you are a contractor as you need to contact someone to turn off alarm and open door for you. Doors also shut at 11pm so don't expect to be allowed out to play after that without getting locked out your own hotel room. The pub seems ok with a good selection of drink and a decent pool table. Silver linings and all that. You have to share a shower also as you don't get your own private one, and the rooms are extremely small. Comfy bed to be fair

Stayed for 3 nights and had a wonderful relaxing stay. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and there was a very relaxing atmosphere in the bar area. The room was clean, tidy and comfortable.

Nice wee pub. Usually has a couple of real ales on tap and a good selection of other drinks. It has won some awards from CAMRA in the past for its ales. Does typical pub food which is tasty and not too badly priced. It has a smoking area out the back and a small pool table just off the main bar. All in, not a bad wee pub. For some reason i avoided this place for years, not sure why as its a nice place to go for a few beers.

I wouldn't really class this as a conventional hotel, more a local pub. In the past couple of years they gave added two craft beer taps, a pool table and a jukebox which has free play at the weekend. It's fine for a pint with "the lads" but not a recommended venue to take your "Mrs".
