Room we were in was a bit snug but very nice nonetheless. Communal dining area was really good. Price was really reasonable, and surrounding area really nice for walks

A little hotel/guest house in an absolutely idyllic location by a canal side harbour. Beautifully decorated small room, spacious bathroom with a proper powerful shower. Coffee machine in addition to standard instant sachets, nice biscuits. Very comfortable bed (and I'm fussy), tasteful cushions and blankets. All very clean. Pillows and bed linen a bit variable but apparently under review, and still perfectly acceptable. Nice common room for guests with more coffee/tea, soft drinks, premium bread for toast for basic breakfast. Fridge where you can store your food. There's no staff on site overnight and entrance is via a lock pad. EXTREMELY clear instructions were provided. I had no problem getting through to someone when calling the provided number in the afternoon; the housekeeping people we met in the morning were lovely. I quite like that but if you want bodies on-site 24/7 it's not the right place for you. Easy parking by the building, secure gate to the whole harbour area overnight. All in all a very good experience, exceeded expectations; good value for money. Highly recommended.

Quaint little hotel, on the outskirts of Glasgow and Loch Lomond. Ideal place to stay for the night. The room was clean, tidy, cosy but plenty big enough for the two of us. Coffee and tea making facilities. Hair dryer available. Plenty of plug sockets. Decent shower. I felt very safe and secure. The room got quite hot during the night, so we opened the window, and something was beeping downstairs, which didn't stop us from sleeping. You can hear the other guests out in the corridor, but by 10pm everyone was in bed, so not an issue for us. The instructions from the owner were clear and easy to follow. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an overnight with stunning views.

Hotels located in a really lovely & quiet spot right next to where the canal meets the Clyde. The place was just as nice on the inside with absolutely charming bedrooms, hallways & residents lounge. We booked 3 rooms and all had a fantastic nights sleep. The rooms are appointed with everything needed for a restful sleep and the entire hotel was immaculately clean throughout. All of us commented how good the shower pressure was too. Will definitely be returning whenever we’re visiting the area!!

What a place! Totally unlike anywhere I've stayed, and I stay at a lot of places. The experience starts when you try and work out where you're meant to park! Then there's no receptionist, and you have a keybox with your room key in. What an innovative ideal!! The finish of the room is outstanding! So warm and comfortable! The shower was fantastic, and the bed is truly sublime! The WiFi wasn't working very well during my stay which was a bit annoying, but other than that I can't fault it. I'm going to stay again next week!

Loved this place and it was great value too. Slightly hard to find but not a big issue, the rooms are recently refurbished, they have great views along the harbour and you're situated 20 mins from Glasgow and Loch Lomond.

The Custom House Hotel is a little gem yet to be discovered. A great location on the Port of Bowling. Furnished to a high standard and Jason is a brilliant host. Very friendly, attentive - there was also a dog bed - and very customer-oriented! Thank you and all the best to Custom House Hotel!
