   Homeless hostel. A place where you shouldn't be degraded and your sentimental stuff stolen because you was bullied out! This place needs shutting down

   Absolutely vile place. Not safe to bring children to. I don’t understand how this place is still up and running. Not even anyone should even be allowed to stay there. My personal experience I had no other choice but to stay at this place as I was homeless and social services placed me there. You do get some food items such as sandwiches and breakfast items but I wouldn’t ever even dare to sit my food down on any of the surfaces in the room. My room was filthy. Stains everywhere cramped space, mold , holes in the walls , dead insects also bathroom had dead bed bugs on the sink and in the shower. This place needs shut down it’s not safe for anyone to live in !

   Wifi non existing some rooms don't even have a carpet and the ones that have carpets are sticky in places 90% staff are great but 1 in 10 can be awkward they know who's who

   The Chez Nous offers nothing to brag about but I will try my best to see the positives. The concierge service is not to be expected as its non existent due to the fact I believe the resident junkies don't require this service. My room which I believe they call compact and bijou could also be called shabby chic but it is far from chic and definitely shabby. The wardrobes and dressers lack handles but who needs handles to open doors these days. The blinds on the windows although white when new around 1976 have over the years built up so much nicotine stain that the brownish look gives a certain jous nè ce quoi. Having a TV in the room does distract the eye from the brown wood chip wallpaper that was also probably put up in 1976 around the same time as the stained carpets. The staff are the only positive in this place they have a tough job to do and the fact they do it with a smile deserves some kind of award. All in all to summarise Chez Nous is similar to nothing you will ever want to experience in your life unless you are homeless and have nowhere else to go.
