Was about to buy an iPhone 17 pro. But apparently they only carry the base model, and I wanted a 1TB. Weird. My mum went in recently looking for a fridge and got the same ‘we can order it in’. Useless. Why would anyone buy anything in person any more? The point of a shop is having a tangible experience, but if they don’t have the stuff and the staff look bored and tired I may as well do it at home.

Just bought a new dishwasher & fridge freezer with Nathan who couldn't have been more helpful if he'd tried. I've used this shop a number of times over the years and everyone always seems really happy to work there. Nathan was highly representative of how friendly, personable, efficient and amenable the whole team here has always been each time I've visited. Great service... thanks so much!

Probably one of the only bricks and mortar stores around that you have to wait 15 minutes to receive any kind of acknowledgement from staff, let alone buy something. If you have the gall to ask a wandering staff member for help, 80% of the time they'll roll their eyes and find the rudest way possible to inform you that they are actually with another customer. My bad! I should've kept tabs on the comings and goings of all members of staff trudging down the corridors... Shout out to Isabella though, who was actually very friendly and helpful, she could give the other staff members training on communicating with other people in a pleasant way

Not nice feeling intimidated by 3 male staff being a woman on my own.Staff are rude and not helpful at all, went in and ordered a laptop for my daughters 21st birthday.whilst in the store wifi went down so couldn’t order laptop but 2 days later £389 came out of my account …so I have no laptop and down £389 even though they couldn’t order laptop they still put it through the till? Went in today to get my money back because they didn’t have the laptop in store.”Bath “! And they wouldn’t refund my £389 because it’s been passed on to customer care team because store couldn’t deal with it….. So I am now left out of pocket it’s my daughters birthday tomorrow and no laptop. This is disgusting and to top it of the 3 guys Alex, Harry “young boy “ I think that’s his name and another who said he works across lots of stores was so unhelpful especially the young boy he just kept raising his eyebrows at me . Also felt very intimidated, i was on my own. This place really needs some lessons in customer service. Stay away they are quick to take your money but not come up with the product.

Bought a dishwasher on Sunday. It was found to be faulty when I got it home. As I was just sold faulty goods I am entitled to a refend or exchange by the shop. Ok, tried ringing on Monday and found there was a TWO HOUR QUEUE!!! Tried online chat and they send you to the manufacturer for a repair. No way around this, no matter what I tried they sent me to someone else to sort it. Grrr.. I dont want a repair, I want and exchange or a refund - simple. They also have video chat. Ok, tried that. "This service is currently not available." Basically, once they have your money they are doing everything possible to avoid talking to you. Charming! Not exactly reasonable after sales care! I will NEVER EVER use Currys again!!

I went in to buy a new laptop in the Bath branch. I received excellent, friendly and knowledgeable help from Jack, Alex and Jeff. They directed me to a model that suited my spec, loaded Office onto it for me, set me up with software updates, and downloaded all my old data from an external hard drive. They even added me to a parking list, so I wouldnt get a ticket if it took a while. Couldn't fault them. I left with a functioning new machine that was £150 of the usual price, and £40 off MS Office. Great service - a pleasure, thank you.

Just bought an iPhone for my Dad. The salesman Pedro was one of the the coolest and best salesperson I have ever met. No heavy sales technique, excellent and honest advice. My Das thought the same. We will definitely go back to buy more things from him. Top bloke!

(update 5*) Went in to get a dvd player and was helped by member of staff who compaird dvd players for me and helped me fined the one more suitable for me and cheaper. (Original 5*) Although no surround sound systems available in store only sound bars wich ain't suitable for what I need. I was approached by a member of staff and explained what I needed he seemed very knowledgeable on the products and showd me what was available on line that wasn't in store. I really appreciated all the all the help and not being pressured in to buying anything I didn't need. Another member of staff approached and showd us some deals on TVs as we was stood looking at the TV's on display it was quiet in store so got to see most of what they had. The store layout was good and easy to fined what your looking for and well spaced out so no getting accidentally bumped in to when stood looking at something.
