I called to donate a tv, offered to bring it in, went there and couldn't get to the back entrance as road works staff were not answering the phone despite there being several men in there noone would help me at all SO disappointed in them no sympathy watsoever for an elderly lady trying to help.
Always had a bargain, staff and delivery drivers are very helpful and careful. Used this store numerous occasions, items are clean and well priced. Surprised me to see negative comments. Very happy customer!
Sadly I am only able to give a low score for the collection I had of furniture today this is because the 2 men that came didn't take most of it! I was told they didn't take anything painted. At no time was I told this when arranging the appointment and when I looked on line it said anything painted with lead paint would not be accepted which is understandable, but my items were painted with a chalk based paint. They insisted that a double headboard which I bought new a few years ago on line had been painted which I assured them it hadn't, but I could tell they didn't believe me! As your collectors at the face of BHF to some people I personally think It i s very rude to talk in a language that the customer doesn't understand and not have any verbal interaction with the customer such as hello/thank you or sorry I think BHF is an excellent organisation but it was very let down this time
I purchased a 4 seater Sofa on Monday afternoon and they have told me that delivery will be on Wednesday in between 12-8pm tentatively. And today (Wednesday) I was at work and my family told me that they have come for the delivery! I rushed out to give a hand to the delivery people,However, in the meantime they have told my wife that we have tried and it wasn’t coming inside the door and in addition to this, They never tried even once. When I came at home they started talking rubbish and threatening me that if you don’t want to accept it then will leave here and then handle yourself. I requested them politely 2-3 times that please try atleast in front of me and I should know where is the problem ??? But then they refused to do it and told me that speak to the store manager and after that they went away with sofa and while leaving they spoke nonsense things as well. Is this a customer service we are looking for a brand like you guys ??? What kind of uneducated and rude people you have hired for the delivery ???? They were extremely rude and nonsense. My family got scared after that incident. Need to escalate this issue asap to the store so that no one else can face such incident in future. They were rude, stupid and unprofessional delivery people.
Store is ok but after buying a mini fridge off them a few months ago, I upgraded and so wanted to donate it back so someone else like me could use it. Had someone call out, look at the fridge, laugh and say they can't take it due to a few minor scratches. All of which were on the unit when it was originally sold to me. Item works perfectly and scratches are unnoticeable. Very poor form. I wouldn't have minded if I had scratched it, but it was sold as is to me from the exact same store. Disappointing experience all round. I won't bother in future. To the dump it goes I suppose.
