   Poor customer service. Home visit - quick / efficient/ friendly (hence a 2 not a 1 star review). Was told an email would follow in a few days. Nothing received to date. Chased via email - no reply as yet. Chased via phone - assured someone would follow up. Nothing received. Shocking way to treat prospective clients.

   Went to howdens in Bath to ask for a conversation on a new kitchen for our house as I'd heard good things and the price fair for what you get. All staff were busy when I arrived which was fair enough and I wasn't in a rush. I waited about 4 minutes. Very loud manager was swanning around the shopfloor speaking very loud on the phone speaking to someone about her holiday in california recently. Apparently it wasn't that hot as its winter there and they spent most of the time at theme parks. She spoke so loudly I imagined that if I worked here, I would hate this, unable to concentrate on work because of someone who is so loud. Anyway she ended her call on the phone, walked straight past me and into a back office. That's rude, I thought - not great customer service to not even acknowledge a guest and potential new purchaser. The woman who was serving on front desk completely ignored me and as a woman who seemed like a current customer walked in the door and she served her before even acknowledging me! The attitude, customer service and general feeling in the place was dire. As I said on the day, don't worry I'll go elsewhere. We would like a new kitchen and advice but for this, I'll go elsewhere.

   Had a kitchen designed then someone came out to measure, the dimensions were different (understandably) so needed some amendments. I've been ghosted for 3 weeks now, no response to any of emails nor have I received the callback I requested. *Edit. Despite the reply below, I've still not heard anything.

   Bought our kitchen in March 2020 from Howdens. A small component broke this week (Jan 2022) and I would have to buy the whole cupboard again normally but SIMON at the Bath branch went over and above to try to source it for me as an individual part. What a superstar. Made my week. Thank you Simon and thank you Howdens. Highly recommend. PLUS we love our kitchen. xxx

   Great Customer Service - I am a returning customer for over 7 years to Howden’s store in bath, the staff are always friendly, helpful & willing to go the extra mile, the quality of the products are good, available, & for projects or replacements they provide an excellent service, thanks, definitely a 5 star company and recommended, special mention for Simon who has been exceptionally helpful!

   Not sure what can be said about Howden. We visited to look at worktops. Not sure why you would visit unless you were in the building trades or a very keen and good DIY type.
