   We are so pleased that we chose Howdens Chippenham from the many kitchen retailers. The service has been flawless from start to finish . They are all so friendly and helpful. We needed to exchange a few items and there was no problem at all with sorting this. The kitchen components are of a very high standard and we are delighted with the finished room ( Elmbridge / sage green) We would highly recommend choosing them . Special thanks to Chris, Matt, and the very helpful drivers too.

   Recently called up the store asking for general advice on cabinets. The woman that answered was very unpleasant, patronising, and sarcastic. Other reviews indicate similar rude behaviour from staff. I was patronized for thinking that a kitchen cabinet supplier may have also fitted the units, like many direct competitors do, and could aid in troubleshooting the removal of one cabinet. Management desperately need to get this sort of thing in check.

   Lady with the pink hair at the counter was one of the rudest people I have spoken to. Didn’t seem interested to help and was generally unpleasant. It’s a shame as the staff in some of the other branches are amazing.

   Distinct opportunity to improve obstructive customer service...... I called for help sourcing kitchen unit accessories for our aged Howdens kitchen, verbal order accepted with no order confirmation. Great. On collection, the *actual* huffing and eye rolling by the woman behind the counter was extremely surprising. Appeared unable to problem solve being "not trade" (which wasn't explained, only that it was my problem I didn't have a number and had a sense she was turning me away at that point!) Thankfully, her colleague was able to find the order on the system with my details as she hadn't been able to. Trade or not, I can't imagine 'rude and inflexible' are what Howdens are going for? (Hinges were great, btw.)
