Has pretty much everything you’d require. The prices are on the very high side, however being an independent it’s to be expected. You pay for the convenience.
A proper old school hardware shop. If you need it they probably have it. They also probably have something you didn't know you needed! Super helpful and cheery staff. Give them a try before B&Q and Screwfix.
Decent place to get things you need. Frustrating that they regularly close early outside of their scheduled hours. Can this be improved?
Literally has everything. Everywhere should have a local hardware store like this. Actually able to talk to people and discuss options too
I hadn't been inside Hawkins for over thirty years but it is still the brilliant hardware store that I remember. But, it is such a great general supplies store too that you feel so much of their stock would be ideal for your home or as gifts. I am so pleased that they are still trading in these modern times
Needed some bits for a couple of DIY projects, the staff are friendly and helped me, I even bought a handle that was the wrong size, I took it back and they didn't have the size I needed so they refunded it and even advised me where I might be able to find one. Thank you
If you need anything from a couple of screws to kitting out your entire kitchen with accessories this lovely store in Thornbury has it all. Always pop in here first before even considering leaving our town. I haven't once needed to go anywhere else, they've always had what I needed. A traditional home store, run by lovely staff.
Excellent services, have everything you need for home DIY and more! A real alladins cave. Needed some help getting some bits last minute today and staff were super helpful over the phone, didn't rush me when I turned up 10 minutes before closing and were happy to help me find what I needed.
