A friendly and helpful staff. The team here are happy to spend time making your holiday what you want. We had quite a tailored package and it helped to know that nothing was too much bother for them. When we had an issue on holiday it was promptly rectified on our return. I would recommend Barrhead travel to take the stress out of travelling!

I've used this Travel agency 4 times now and each time I was impressed with the service. Particular mention of Emma, who researched suitable options for our family holidays, provided a good set of alternatives, tweaked and fine-tuned choices for us, did useful fact-finding for me, mailed me with replies promptly, and generally did what the Agency promises - "customising" our holiday nicely. Well done to her. She has a friendly but professional manner, a pleasure to deal with. I'm pretty certain I'll be back here to book our next break!
ONLY A 1 STAR AS YOU CAN'T SELECT ZERO STARS! Booked a trip to New York for my parents and partner and specifically asked if I would be able to amend the ticket details nearer the time as I knew there was a chance that my partner might not be able to go. Therefore I wanted to change the name on the ticket if need be. I was told that I would be able to change the details but would need to pay an admin fee (which I didn't mind) and so I went ahead and booked through Barrhead Travel. Then, when I went to change the details prior to the trip I was told that I could not amend any of the details on the tickets after all. I was annoyed as this was the only specific request that I made and it turned out my partner could not travel so I lost just over £1000. The Managing Director Craig was extremely rude, unhelpful and insinuated that because his staff had not noted my requests on the system that it was their word against mine and I was basically lying! I am not normally one to complain however I have never been treated as bad by a company in my entire life! I have since wrote to the company and a few months on I am still waiting on a response! This totally ruined a once in a lifetime trip for me and my family and as such I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy let alone friends or family!
