Quite happily used First Choice until this year. As of Oct 2018, Puerta Plata in the Dominican Republic became a no no from the UK. No reason given, just a "Why don't you go to Punta Cana?". Or "You can fly to Brussels/Dusseldorf, and go to Puerta Plata from there!!!" This change has ruined all our Silver Wedding plans. Even the hotel in the resort don't know why they are not bringing UK guests any more. All attempts to get an answer have been ignored.
