Prescriptions are always ready within 2 days and notification text received when they are. All the staff are lovely and there are never long queues.

Opening times to suit most people's work patterns, it's open until 6pm week days. My only bugbear about the chemist—and it's not unique to this one, so I'm not reflecting this in the stars, since I've not found z chemist that doesn't do this—my gripe is the effective closure of the dispensing of prescriptions between 1pm and 2pm as the pharmacist goes for lunch. The irony with this chemist is that, whilst that's their policy like most chemists (all I've tried, at least) they don't always stick to it! When they've got two pharmacists on the counter, they stagger their lunches and this hour doesn't happen. You'd say it's a good thing, but it us annoying because you don't know how ro plan your day. Do you wait only to find you needn't have, or do you go only to be told come back at 2pm. To be fair I'm making it into more than it is. Just assume it's going to be in force. If you've come from the surgery at this time, hand your script in. If they say you can wait then you've won a bonus, since you were expecting to come back later/tomorrow etc. Which leads me on to perscriptions during the 1-2pm lunch. if you're handing on a perscription or buying over the counter stuff, you still can, regardless of time. It only affects the dispensing of script meds, and also the locked glass door meds(eg over the counter opiods such as your 8mg codeine, as these have to be dispensed by the pharmacist with advice).

came in today 04/07/23 12:30am I got a consultation for a tablet off of the most lovely and professional pharmacist best customer service I’ve ever had. That good that I’ve took my own time to point it out seriously deserves recognition wish I knew her name. The receptionist Zara was so lovely and friendly reassuring me it wouldn’t be long. Every customer that came got service with a smile. What a team!! both deserve so much recognition went above and beyond for every customer x

The worst chemist in Blantyre. Lots of staff but always a huge queue. Staff look as though they are wandering about in a daze. Avoid it if you can…… If you can’t then make sure you aren’t in a hurry!!!! Brutal…..

Best pharmacy locally. Staff are very helpful. Even when the shop is very busy the staff seem to cope very well.

I urge everyone to double check their prescription before leaving the store. I do not normally use this pharmacy, however due to it being later in the day my usual pharmacy was closed. This was the only one in my area that was open. Firstly, I waited 40 minutes on the prescription being made up. Which is understandable when it’s so busy. It was getting closer to 6pm and it was a Friday. I rushed out as they were closing. I checked they gave me the correct items however, they did not give me the correct number. By a mile off. I assumed this was a human error as it was so busy and end of day, I didn’t want to make a big fuss. I contacted back up Monday (today) explained I’ve never had this issue and what should I do? They stated the pharmacist who done my prescription checked it and they couldn’t do anything for their mistake. They told me to go to my GP, however my GP told me to go to boots. I am fortunate that my GP was able to resolve this issue in the end. However I can imagine not many GP’s would be so understanding. I was advised by a member of staff to always check in store anything regarding prescriptions. I have always trusted pharmacies, GP etc. However now, i will never be left in this situation again.

I have never known a shop where the staff completely ignore you. They stand behind desk and blether ie it's not work related
