Purchased a set of tyres from here and the next day I had to return because one of them was losing pressure. I was charged 25 pounds to "patch" a single tyre under the claim that I had already gotten a puncture, and since then 2 more were constantly losing pressure. Took it to another mechanic and was told wheels the were not cleaned and tyres were installed incorrectly. Needless to say I will not be returning here.

Great service and great price. Stephen in Alloa was very helpful. If we lived closer would use more often.

The locknut sheered on one of 4 wheels having tyres replaced. Ok. It can happen. Not a reflection on the staff. Told they can fix & they have someone to do it for them. I accept this naively and drive away with it now being firmly my problem. 3 times I called to follow up & book it in and there was absolutely ZERO interest in finishing off the job. I wasn’t expecting it for free, I just wanted to be able to get a new tyre on. Other garages wouldn’t touch it. Saw it as something Farmers should have helped solve. The mechanic himself was nice and apologetic. I was very much strung along with the commitment of aftercare just to get my car off the lot though. I followed up three times?! If that’s not benefit of the doubt, what is? They have no interest at management level other than their revenue line. Why waste time fixing a problem you helped create when you could be spending that time achieving your figures and taking zero interest in those new customers as well.

Literally possibly one of the worst garages and Customer services in the whole of the country. Apparently Understaffed, apparently overworked and ignorant personnel operating for them. My advice is take your vehicle elsewhere folks… save the disappointment and overpriced estimates and ignorant personnel.

I will likely never go anywhere else for maintenance/repairs on my car. These guys are fair, fast, kind, efficient, reasonable, and friendly. Do yourself a favour while saving yourself money and stress by going to Farmers Alloa. 100/100

I just wanted to share my past couple of experiences dealing with Farmer Autocare Alloa. I used them last year to service my Kia after receiving poor service and being over charged previosuly by the KIA main dealership and also the fact they are literally walking distance from my home. I had an issue develop over the weekend in which my bonnet wouldnt release, which meant i couldnt top up my washer fluid, and therefore couldn't do a log journey... I called the main dealership, who by the way supposedly fixed the same issue last year charging me over £120 !!,. and they couldnt see me for a week and even that was for just an initial consultation. I called Farmer and Stephen answered the phone, who was both friendly, helpful and courteous ,... he said pop it in that day and he'll take a look. I dropped of the car at 11:30am and by 1pm he called to say they had managed to open the bonnet but i would need a new cable which only KIA would supply, but he had topped up my washer fluid and checked all my levels, thus giving me more time to resolve the underlying issue, but the best thing, he stated that there would be no charge,... now maybe this was because i had given them business previously but he could have still charged me. I know i've waffled on , but i have to say i was very impressed with the service and i will be returning to them for all future work. So, if you are wondering if you can trust your car with them,..all i can say is from my experience is that you'll be in good hands.

Farmers Alloa were able to see me & fix the car on the same day. Then today they did my MOT and service was so fast and I feel very comfortable using them as someone who doesn’t know much about Cars.

Very friendly. They don't try to rip you off just because you're a woman. Defo recommend.
