I had a throat infection and got prescribed a 5 day course of antibiotics for my local GP which helped. Then it flared up again and I went to this pharmacy and told the pharmacist the level of pain I am having (9/10) with just finished antibiotics. He gave me corsodyl which is a mouthwash I challenged him twice that I dont think this is enough and he said yes it will work. In reality it was completely ineffective. Pointless visit and advice.

It is very unlike me to leave a negative review, but in this case I felt I simply must! Absolutely horrendous place to have to go. It’s bad enough having medical emergencies late at night, never mind needing to go here. It’s supposed to be open til 11pm, but in reality they shut whenever they like. When you do manage to get in, the staff are rude, impatient and clearly do not want to be there. One time I walked in to overhear the staff bickering amongst themselves as to whose turn it was to speak to waiting customers. This place really needs a new influx of staff who are better trained in the art of being professional.

Agree with other reviews. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Four hours to fill a prescription that had been sent by OOH GP. They apparently don't look at their emailed prescription until you have given them time to fill it before you turn up to collect. Then they tell you it'll be 30 mins, as they'll "rush" you. As if it's some sort of favour to provide slower service than any other pharmacy in the land. That 30 minutes translates to "over an hour and not what was prescribed". An absolute shower. I've had to use this pharmacy twice before, both similarly not of my choosing. Do what you can to divert your prescription somewhere better. EDIT: It is now also evident that the pharmacist has added too much water to my antibiotic suspension, meaning that for the last 3.5 days, I have not been taking the full prescribed dose.

Absolute disgrace of a place the staff in here should all be replaced, surprised nobody has slapped any of them went up today and totally disrespected, they can’t find prescription that’s been emailed to them by NHS 24 surprise!! surprise!! Wasn’t even gonna go collect it as I knew the outcome. Change the record guys. Do you understand you’re leaving vulnerable people in need . Worst pharmaceutical staff I’ve ever came across why do a Job that takes patients and compassion when you actually couldn’t give a toss

Outstanding professional service - I know the name of pharmacist - but perhaps she would prefer not to named. In Maryhill, I'd been subject to significant dispensing error, and taken many excessive doses of medication. Out of hours, this Lloyds pharmacist persuaded me not to induce vomiting, to drink water, to seek immediate advice from doctor. She explained issues clearly, candidly, patiently, and with kindness. This is exactly what is needed, in a scary situation. Many thanks.

Always a queue to get served and over recent months they have had difficulties in filling prescriptions. Other smaller independent pharmacies have been able to source pretty routine medicines easily from other suppliers, but Lloyd's appear to be tied to.one supplier, hence their difficulties. It only gets 2 stars because its open late and at the weekends.

Waited over 20mins to collect a prescription and I was 2nd in the queue. I also waited another few minutes to be let out of the shop as they had locked the door for lunchtime. My prescription was also sent to the wrong location.

Told in multiple occasions a prescription would be ready to collect the following day after 5pm, this is never the case. Frequently told they “won’t be getting anymore in” despite having made promises the day prior. Anytime a prescription has been available, it’s often taken upwards of an hour to be signed off before being handed out. No wonder it’s open until 11pm, takes them that long to do a simple dispersal. Go elsewhere, don’t waste your time or risk your health with these folks.
