Why they got my phone number and never cared to send a msg when medicine are ready. Won't use this pharmacy with such awful staff.
It is a terrible experience each time I need to pick up my medicine. Every time, I have a different problem—either with the medicine or the staff. Last time, they forgot to prepare it, and I never received any notification from Boots regarding this.
Since they took over my prescriptions from the doctors instead of me ordering they never have them ready n don’t apologise, need to call endlessly n never answer the phone . Waiting days for a prescription n don’t text when ready even though they assure you they will. Service certainly not what it used to be !
Really wish it was on the website that the shop is closed for an hour for lunch. I struggled to do the 25 min walk there when 8 and a half months pregnant to be told to return in an hour because closing for lunch, turning my 50 min round trip into either an hour and 40 min struggle walk or wait and twiddle thumbs for an hour.
This new pharmacist, not sure what his name is, is a total clown. He's told the staff that they don't have to answer the phone because they are busy. I remember at the height of the pandemic when the chemist had queues around the corner and the phone was answered then. Some pensioners need to know if their prescription is there incase they make a wasted journey and this idiot won't answer the phone. I understand that they are busy but answering the phone is part of the job.
Says open until 18:00 Sunday. I'm here and it's closed.

Been waiting all day for my prescription. The practice confirmed that it was dropped in by the doctor. Have been calling for the last hour to no answer. This prescription was submitted to them at 10am this morning.
Very small shop (only 2 customers allowed in) with limited range of goods. They seem very overworked - failure to advise of prescription being ready are common.
Woman seemed almost delighted to lock the door as I went to enter to collect a prescription as it struck dead on 1 o'clock. Telling me we are closed for lunch!Thanks for the great service!
