Searched "can a pharmacy remove a splinter for me" and every single hit said YES YES YES went and spoke to the pharmacist AT BOOTS HIGH ST DUMBARTON and got an emphatic NO go to the hospital. Went to another small independent chemist and they gave me a little bottle of Magnesium Sulphate Paste last night at 5pm. Today it's all gone no pain no jagging I actually forgot all about it until an hour ago and had been up for 6 hours. Why didn't Boots give me that??? Utter garbage. I got the distinct impression he just couldn't be bothered. You are encouraged to go to the pharmacy for minor issues and they couldn't even get a pair of tweezers and pull out a skelf/splinter for me. I am diabetic so getting any injury on your feet is an emergency. It was on my sole so I couldn't see it. Disgraceful to the nth degree! GO AND HANG YOUR HEADS IN SHAME!!!

Went today at 11:45 and the place was locked up. No notice on door to explain why. There was a notice that said closed for lunch between 1 and 2 but nothing else.

Absolutely top treatment, went in with an allergic reaction, was ready to tear my arm off, the help I received was amazing, although he didn’t have the item in stock he wrote it down so I could get it elsewhere. Certainly went above and beyond so thank you boots. Amazing.

Refused meds because my partner was 3 days early by a nasty nasty man who left me with no medication what kind of human being would do such a thing ? Complaints to head office ignored but I am taking it further it's now in the hands of my lawyer!

Tried to order online for store collection but as I was paying by gift card I had to order in-store. Ridiculous in this day of online shopping that you cannot use a gift card online. Boots need to get this sorted. When in store the staff were really lovely and helpful making sure the process was as easy as it could be and I was able to select the next day for delivery to the store. A text notified me that the order was ready for collection and I picked it up with no issues. I think if I had not been using a gift card the process of ordering online would have been simple but ultimately it was inconvenient to go and order in store.

Friendly and Knowledgeable, the staff are a credit to Boots. I travel further to this branch through choice, and have my repeat prescriptions sent there.

Local shop is a bit run down. But has the essentials. Fully stocked and operational chemist and also stocks the usual Boots essentials however it is a rather small shop. Nice enough and does the job.

If you live outwith the area, do NOT come here with a prescription. Was treated with suspicion from the outset, followed and asked to confirm my Doctor's surgery address and made to feel like I was doing something wrong. It wasn't like I was obtaining something unusual or addictive - thyroid medication. Questions galore for no reason. Think the young 'gentleman' (arrogant) needs a bit of customer service training. Will never use this place again for anything. My parents who live here have already stopped taking their business here for the same reason - questions questions questions. Very bad experience.
