HORRIFIC customer service. Woman staff member asked me and my friend if we were buying food, we answered yes, we were just looking for stuff. She proceeded to pull faces at us and followed us round the shop and she continued to sigh at us. Made us extremely uncomfortable as we felt intimidated as teenagers.
Customer service is non existant. The assistant was just down right rude to me, then overcharged me by £ 2. No apology. So best keep right away from this Coop.
HORRENDOUS customer service, if you need a coop definitely drive past the hope one and find another, first time in there so expectations were good to start, only went in for a coffee and a few other cold drinks, cashier didn't want to listen or care that the Costa machine was broke, they just abruptly said "ticket" to me when i went to the till to explain, after 3 cups later with a 1/4 filled on the last one other members were signalled, one was the manager who didn't seem to care just looked at the machine walked off and stayed on the phone call he was on and the 3rd member of staff just said it needs a deep clean and thats it, this is the first place I've ever left without thanking at least one member of staff on my way out, never ever again.
On the way home from work needed to grab a few things and was shut at 10:30 when it's advertised as still being open till 11pm
So handy having this in Hope now. Its what the village has needed for years. Parking is good. Staff are always friendly. If I'm in a rush to work I can easily pop in on my way to grab something to eat and drink. Cash machine and Costa coffee machine available. Love how they've donated money back in to the community already after just a few weeks.
Good selection of food etc. Open until 11pm. Good for us as we stay locally in the caravan and don’t have to worry about forgetting to bring or run out of supplies.
Sometimes the experience is good sometimes it's not. Epends who is on the till. There is one member of staff that is really abrupt. I don't think retail work is for her. Today the service was good had a nice polite lad on the till
