What an awesome place to eat at!! Loved it!! What a treasure of a place that we came across by chance! It DOESNT just serve lobster!!! It’s has a bit of everything and it’s all gorgeous food. Lovely friendly staff, and the decoration, we loved it, oh the decoration was what made us go in and give it a go, just so much to look at! Then the food was delicious to go with it, we talked for days about how luck we got finding this place. The hagus ball starter was an awesome way to try the Scottish dish for the first time! With Mac & cheese to die for!!!

Really love it! Is a great place , very cozzy and great atmosphere. The staff were very nice and the food, was one of the best seafood plates that I have had ;) . And the presentation as well, lovely. I recommended visit the whisky distillery, right beside the pub. Colm, the owner , is great crack ! We were very happy to met him. Thanks

We enjoyed a delicious meal at the Lobster Pot after our visit to Blackness Castle. What fun, quirky decor. Our server was so friendly. We did let her know we were taking a bus and she accommodated our time restrictions as best she could which we really appreciated especially given how busy it was. My husband had an 11/10 burger. I had the chips and scampi. Absolutely delicious and probably some of the best chips I’ve ever had. We will visit again the next time we’re in Scotland.

The place is amazingly designed! The service could be much better - my wife and I been asked if we'd like to share the portion, and explicitly mentioned that we want two portions, but waitress made an opposite. We haven't been asked for the burger's degree of doneness. After the meal arrived, we haven't been asked if we like it.

We came today to the Lobster Pot, I booked online and was a bit disappointed to go in and receive a table right next to the bar - the waitress offered to move us, but was shouted at by the manager that 'they weren't able to do that' so we accepted the table - it just meant we were right on the path to the wee shop with people coming in past us constantly and also half way through our meal two guys came in and propped themselves up right next to our table - fair enough, there's little bar space, it just meant that we could hear each other's conversation really well. As it was in the shade and near the door to the shop, it was also a very cold table so our food didn't stay hot for long and we were glad we brought jackets in with us, even though it was warm outside. There were tables around us that had been reserved, but no one showed up to take them and we weren't offered to get moved and I was a bit miffed when a couple with no booking turned up and got a lovely table by the window. The food was OK - the haggis fritters were delicious. I had a cheeseburger and it was standard with very little cheese on it. My husband had fish and chips and he said it was nice, but both his and my chips were not fresh. We had apple pie and ice cream to finish. The ice cream was lovely. The service was good - the waitress who served us was lovely and happy to help. Our experience today wouldn't stop us going back and i'd recommend it if I was in Blackness again.

Great place for a nice intimate meal. The atmosphere is very nice as the music and the decorations are well selected. The food is well prepared and the plates are of a good size. Their homemade coleslaw, is definitely one of the best I've had! The drinks selection is very good as well! The pub is in the main square and there are parking spaces in front of it. Quirk: the corner shop within the pub is fantastic. Also, if you want to bring your dog, this pub is pet friendly.

A welcoming small place with staff who are both helpful and polite. The food was all great and the portions were large enough so I didn't need a pudding, great and interesting interior decor make this a worth while visit. I nice mix of young people, families and older patrons. Staff very quick and helpful so I can't fault anything here. Would come back cheers.
