The best running shop I have been to you. Excellent service from friendly and knowledgeable staff. I really enjoyed the visit and came away with a new pair of trainers I wouldn’t have considered. They are sooo comfortable. A very big 5* experience. I think it was Elliot who served me.

Amazing shop. Purchased a pair of Nike Pegasus 41 for cheaper than I could buy from Nike themselves. Cheaper than anyone. Delivery was free and very quick. Will definitely be using again, can’t recommend highly enough.

I was in store on Sunday. A massive thank you for the staff member that helped with my trainer choice . Unusually I wasn’t in for running shoe but an appropriate trainer to return to work following a Total Knee Replacement. The trainers were perfect for my first day back. . Perfect fit & extremely comfortable whilst working today . Again , a massive thanks . Fantastic store , will definitely return again in the future .

It’s been awhile since I’ve written a review, but I had such impeccable service and overall experience with this store that I had to share. First thing I want to review is the store in person, on a recent trip to Glasgow I stumbled across the store, that I had visited online many times. Whilst sitting on the bus, I saw the store out the window and it’s clean design caught my eye. I immediately got off the bus and ventured into the store. After over 10 years working in retail spaces I was blown away with the clean aesthetic of the store. The interior, selection of products and overall service was unforgettable. even though the store was incredibly busy, I was acknowledged right away and still offered assistance. I’m truly sad that this store is not in London. Even though I didn’t really need anything, I didn’t want to leave the store empty-handed so I purchased a mental athletic magazine. Secondly, I would like to talk about my online experience, once returning back to London. As previously mentioned, I had found myself on the Achilles Heel website multiple times. The main reason for this was the selection of brands that are not openly available in all running stores. At the moment I particularly like brands such as Bandit, which is an American running brand from Brooklyn in New York. It can be really hard to find a good selection of their product in the UK, for a reasonable price. Not only were the prices of certain products better than other stores, the range was good and some of the items were in the sale. So I placed an order, I was surprised at how fast the packing and shipping was. The next day my products arrived, which in my experience is unusual with independent running stores that can take a few days. Sadly one of the products I had purchased, a pair of socks was faulty. After running in them just once they had holes and other damage, so I emailed Achilles Heel right away, and was surprised at how helpful the staff were. There was no issues, they asked for photos so they could understand the fault and I sent them to which I was told a replacement pair would be sent to me that day. The feeling I got was the same feeling I had in the store, the staff were so genuine, polite and extremely helpful. When the replacement pair of socks arrived, they had not just replaced the sock that was broken but sent me an entire pack of Bandit socks. I will be definitely shopping here again, online or on my trips to Glasgow. I highly recommend this store!
