   I chose this place for key cutting on the basis of its excellent on-line reviews. The reviews are not wrong! The service is beyond excellent! I needed keys cut for the close door. The key I initially took in (from one of my neighbours) was a copy of the original (ie not one originally supplied with the lock.). The copy made of the copy I had taken in unfortunately did not turn in the lock when I got home, so I returned, and another new copy was made. This still did not work. (Apparently this is not uncommon, particularly if it's not a good copy to begin with - as this one wasn't - and may, indeed have already been a copy of a copy, as the most helpful gentleman in West End Hardware explained to me.). When I managed to track down an original key from another neighbour, a successful copy was finally able to be made. Despite the fault being entirely mine (ie not taking in an original key to be copied) I was not charged for the first 2 copies! (I was delighted and amazed by this, in equal measure!) So, I highly recommend West End Hardware, for service above and beyond; and fully endorse previous positive reviews.

   I broke my flat key at the weekend and without a spare, I was in a spot of bother. But after a quick phone call, I was able to get a new key cut here within 10 minutes despite the original being broken. Quick, cheap, really friendly and completely understood the situation I was in so was happy to accommodate. Would definitely be my first port of call for anything like this!

   Cool dude good prices,!!! had to go back and edit this review after thinking about the level of service this guy gives me every time I’m there. It’s like old school good service when the person in the shop knows their stock inside out and is friendly. Probably the best level of service I’ve had in a long time.

   First time I've ever bothered to leave a review but this guy is definitely worth it, had such a good shop experience that i wish i had constantly had DIY to do so i could go in more. Simply told him what i was doing and he got together everything i needed, judgement was spot on, prices were cheap and never once considering my semi-lack of experience did he try to rip me off in anyway. 10/10
