   The woman who runs the place is great. I’ve been going in for years and she’s always lovely and very helpful. She’ll ask if she can help quite soon after you come in because she knows everything in the shop and can tell you where it is or if they stock it. You could be looking for hours without her as there’s so much stuff in there. She’s really nice and gives good advice and if she doesn’t have something in will tell you the nearest place that probably does. She’s very patient given I’m rarely sure exactly what I’m looking for when I go in there. The prices are good (obviously probably not quite as cheap as some huge retailers who can buy in bulk), you don’t feel overcharged. She takes card but I think it’s only for transactions over a tenner and she prefers cash, so I try to keep some for when I’m in. It’s a great, proper hardware shop. I’m really glad and grateful it’s there.

   Small local business but with a very good selection of household/DIY goods. I got an extension cable from here and it was cheaper than Amazon. They also sell fire alarms that lots of people are asking about recently. The owner did answer her phone while serving me but that doesn't bother me personally.

   Great hardware store. One can find almost anything needed for some small repairs. There is a cast selection of beers and bolts as well as some bail electric accessories. The sales lady is very polite and helpful. Every time I go there I can find what I am looking for. Definitely worth visiting in case they have what you need.

   Delightful family run DIY store. Worth going just for the banter between the husband and wife owners. I was looking for a door lock. I was trying to choose between two. The owner suggested that I should pay for one lock but take both and bring back the one I didn't need. How helpful and trusting! I don't live locally and had never been in before.
