   Came as a family for our dinner last week and was absolutely blown away, each of us ordered different meals and not a single person left disappointed. Food was incredible, portions were generous and the staff were lovely. Shoutout especially to the chef Darren and the head manager too as they went above and beyond for us during our visit. Will definitely be back again

   We had my wife’s Nicolas 40th dinner there on 1st nov with friends and family Service and food was excellent , we moved into the bar afterwards and the bar staff couldn’t be more helpful keeping everyone topped up with drinks . Would highly recommend.

   Lovely restaurant and pub. Food was amazing value for money with lots of promotions during the week. Natchos were really good and loved the fajita bowls. We had the dog so sat in the bar which was comfy and staff were so friendly. Will definitely be back

   Highly recommend the Canalside, food was immense, especially the Steak pie! (Fajitas, gammon and Salmon!) It was all beautifully cooked. We'll be visiting again on our way back to Falkirk!

   Haggis nachos were delicious as were the garlic balls. Wasn't overly impressed with the dirty fries, price or quality. No egg or pineapple with Gammon Steak. Service was good.

   The food here is amazing. Went for Mother's Day and ate off the set menu. Went at midday and it was quite a quiet atmosphere. The staff were really friendly and attentive. Will be back!

   The food was good, tasted fresh, plenty of flavour. Atmosphere was lovely. Service was nice, a little higgeldy pickildy, but really friendly. The starter was so good that I wanted it main size, but the portions were well sized. I didn't think I could eat a dessert but was glad to be pushed in to the posset, I still dream about it. Presention was beautiful. You pay for quality.

   Refreshingly innovative and friendly pub and restaurant. Great informal dining with plenty of familiar dishes given a new twist (or two). As a starter the scallops with black pudding, chilli jam and cauliflower pakora was particularly good. The chefs work hard to match interesting flavours together. Good service and reasonable prices.
